Governor Abbot: Vaccine Mandates Banned “By Any Entity in Texas”

Texas governor Greg Abbot delivered some amazing news on Monday!

Abbot signed an executive order stating that “no entity” in Texas can compell an individual into getting the experimental Covid injection.

This applies to employees, consumers, or anyone else who objects to the jab for any reason whatsoever.

“The Covid vaccine should always remain voluntary and never forced,” said Abbot.

He also said that he was adding the issue to the Special Session agenda.

Today is a victorious day for Texans!

Here's more on governor Abbot's executive order from the Texas Tribune:

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Monday issued another executive order cracking down on COVID-19 vaccine mandates — this time banning any entity in Texas, including private businesses, from requiring vaccinations for employees or customers.

Abbott also called on the Legislature to pass a law with the same effect. The Legislature is in its third special legislative session, which ends Oct. 19.

Here's more details from Fox 11 Los Angeles:

The executive order follows several executive orders issued by Abbott, including GA-38 prohibiting entities from issuing mask mandates as it relates to COVID-19.

"The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective, and our best defense against the virus, but should remain voluntary and never forced," said Abbott in a press release.

According to the executive order, "the maximum fine allowed under Section 418.173 of the Texas Government Code and the State’s emergency management plan shall apply to any "failure to comply with" this executive order. Confinement in jail is not an available penalty for violating this executive order."

This is certainly a big victory for Texas!
