President Trump is holding a rally in Des Moines, Iowa tonight amid his rise in popularity in the state.

The popularity of President Trump spilled over outside the Iowa State Fair Grounds in Des Moines, with thousands waiting to get into the rally.

People even camped out yesterday to ensure their spot!

President Trump must have been feeling the love with the “Let’s Go Brandon” chants and signs in Des Moines.

Early in the rally, President Trump took time to mock Biden’s approval rating in Iowa, which is at 31% according to a recent poll.

“Who the hell are the 31%?” President Trump jokingly asked his massive crowd.

“Is anybody here?” He asked them.

According to KCCI Des Moines, an Iowa poll found that President Trump was more popular than ever.

The Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll found that 53% of Iowa residents favor President Trump.

91% of Iowa Republicans view President Trump favorably!

KCCI has more on President Trump’s popularity in Iowa:

The poll shows a majority of Republicans in Iowa, 91%, view Trump favorably. That’s compared to just 7% who view him unfavorably, and 2% who are not sure.

Independents in Iowa are split on Trump, with 48% viewing him favorably, 49% unfavorably and 3% unsure.

Democrats in Iowa are united in their view of Trump, with 99% viewing him unfavorably, and just 1% viewing him favorably.

One Republican poll respondent from Cedar Rapids said he views Trump “very favorably,” because Trump doesn’t act like a typical politician. He went on to say he thought the current situation in the country is very bad, and he thought Trump would be able to correct it quicker than anyone else.

One Independent poll respondent from Des Moines said he liked that Trump did what he promised to do in office, particularly in growing the economy. However, he said he’d like to see Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis run for president, adding that he’d vote for DeSantis over Trump.

As Trump’s favorability shows an increase, a previous poll showed President Joe Biden’s approval rating suffering a steep drop from earlier in the year.

That Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa poll showed 31% of Iowans approve of the job Biden is doing as president. That’s a drop of 12% from June. It also showed 62% disapprove of the job he’s doing as president.

For the new poll, Seltzer & Co. of Des Moines conducted telephone interviews with 805 Iowans ages 18 and older from Sept. 12-15.

Knowing Biden’s approval rating continues to nose dive, it won’t be long before 31% seems like a generous number.
