FEC Sides With Twitter Over Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal

The entire game is rigged, and we know that.

For those who need more proof, look no further than the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

Not only was the story suppressed by the cathedral, but now The FEC has reportedly sided with Twitter in a complaint lodged by The RNC alleging that it was illegal for Twitter to withhold the story at such a critical time.

According to Washington Examiner, The FEC claims that Twitter was correct in suppressing the story “over concerns that foreign actors obtained the salacious materials through hacking.”

Think about that for a second.

WHO cares how the material was obtained? A crime is still a crime no? Rules are still rules no? Wrongdoing is still wrongdoing, is it not?

The FEC has some pretty weak and unimpressive responses on this one, and it is clear to me that this was not about perusing the truth.

Here’s what people are saying:

The decision was reported via Washington Examiner:

In announcing the decision, the FEC pointed to Twitter’s assertion that part of the reason it stopped the spread of the New York Post articles in October was over concerns that foreign actors obtained the salacious materials through hacking.

The social media giant claimed the U.S. intelligence community was warning about such an effort in the lead-up to the 2020 election. No evidence has emerged that the Hunter Biden laptop story stemmed from a foreign hacking operation.

Daily Signal decried the decision:

The FEC also excused Twitter because it changed its mind “within a day of its decision,” according to the Times.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but that ruling is garbage.

The original New York Post report contained information drawn from Hunter Biden’s laptop’s hard drive that detailed his shady foreign business deals and influence-peddling as he sold access to his powerful father, now-President Joe Biden.

Emails strongly implied that Joe Biden himself knew of, approved of, and potentially benefited personally from some of the arrangements. That was a blockbuster scoop.

It was obviously an inherently political decision to block such a story so close to an election, so hiding behind the claim that it was a commercial decision is ludicrous. It also ignores an inconvenient truth: The left uses Big Tech to do that which the federal government cannot; namely, censor political opponents.
