We’ve returned to the days of segregation in America.
During the Jim Crow era, it was white & colored.
Now, it’s vaccinated & unvaccinated.
On Monday 9/13, NYC’s COVID-19 injection mandate went into full effect.
To enter indoor venues like restaurants, bars, gyms, theaters, and museums, you must ‘show your papers.’
Medical Jim Crow officially began in Nazi York City.
But when you think about it, there’s not a drastic difference between the Jim Crow of old and new.
Black and Latino communities are the most vaccine hesitant in NYC.
Past experiments like Tuskegee remain horrific reminders of medical atrocities committed against minorities.
As the NYC’s segregationist policy went into effect, thousands of New Yorkers rallied at Foley Square and marched across the Brooklyn Bridge in protest.
After the protest, one family tested the policy at a nearby restaurant.

Nazi York City in action.
Segregation has reared its ugly head in our society again.
Here’s a longer clip of the confrontation on Instagram.
BPR Business & Politics reported:
The man was identified as Ray Velez, and he posted the video he took at Juliana’s Pizza in Brooklyn on his Instagram page on Tuesday.
“The world needs to see the ugly face of segregation. @julianaspizza you my friends need to wake up,I told I would expose your business for it’s participation in the modern day segregation. share this far and wide everyone discrimination will not be tolerated,” he wrote on Instagram where the video has been viewed over 125,000 times.
Velez took things a step further at the pizza place when he turned his attention to other patrons in the restaurant.
“Everybody in here’s okay with that…setting up segregation in society?” he asked, panning the camera around the eatery. “Oh, we don’t have our vaccine card so now the kids can’t eat, we can’t eat. You guys are okay with that? This is the America you want to live in?”
As if to prove his point, a man at another table responded “yup” and directed his middle finger at Velez who was clearly seated with his children. Other people could be heard now commenting as he became increasingly frustrated with the response, or lack thereof.
“This is America and in America, everybody can eat!” he exclaimed, continuing to ask other customers if they accepted the “segregation” of people based on their vaccine status.
Amazingly, many restaurant patrons appeared to ignore him.
Juliana’s Pizza commented on a Twitter post about the incident, writing: “We take the health and safety of our customers seriously. We also face steep fines if we violate City Hall’s order. We are permitted to and do accommodate unvaccinated individuals for outdoor, socially distanced dining & takeout. We appreciate your understanding & support.”
Though there were social media users who praised the eatery for purportedly upholding Democrat Mayor Bill de Blasio’s vaccine mandates, plenty of others got the point Velez was making.
The majority of Twitter responses expressed outrage over the segregationist policy and the silence of fellow patrons:
Didn't you see the how so many forced exclusion on the people who couldn't wear masks for the past year and a half?
You all allowed this and followed ridiculous mask mandates and cheered on the exclusion or you just didn't say anything like these people.

Notice the white guy gave him the finger, a year and a half ago that same guy was probably protesting for blm.
The hypocrisy is mind blowing, the world has gone mad.— Dave lots of numbers 😝 (@Dave91473661) September 16, 2021
I'm an atheist and I stand with the dude and his family. You don't give the finger to a man standing up for his rights and just wanting to eat. Freedom of belief, freedom of speech, freedom of choice. Being eroded here in New Zealand, don't let it happen in the great USA, please.

And let’s get one thing straight, any Nazi York City businesses that obediently complies with medical segregation will receive the same treatment.
They will get boycotted and freedom-loving businesses that take a stand against tyranny will receive more customers.
Located in Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge, Rocco’s is one restaurant that gets it right:
Key to NYC mandate enforcement starts today. Must show vaccine proof & ID to enter restaurants, gyms & entertainment venues. $1,000 fine for business noncompliance. Some – including Rocco’s in Bay Ridge – say they will not comply. @PIX11News @nycgov pic.twitter.com/nWbv0LWjhi

From a business standpoint, I know it’s a double-edge sword.
If you comply, you automatically cut off 30% of the city’s population minimum.
That doesn’t include those vaccinated who won’t comply with segregation.
On the other hand, non-compliance means the city applies bully tactics by threatening you with fines or revoked licenses.
But De Blasio’s dictatorial decree is a mandate.
It’s NOT a law.
Fines issued by the city are dismissible in court.
Because mandates are unconstitutional and De Blasio’s edict violates civil rights laws.
Customers can sue for discrimination, and the city won’t provide the business legal aid.
It’s a lose-lose situation.
Unfortunately, it’s the fear of fines that compels many businesses to comply.
If everyone stood together and refused to bow down to medical tyranny, this mandate immediately crumbles.
But for those businesses who feel they must comply, it’s the boycott treatment for them.
