BREAKING: Capitol Bomb Suspect SURRENDERS To Police

What is going on at the Capitol?

A suspect who made a bomb threat near The Library of Congress surrendered to law enforcement after several hours of negotiations.

I wonder what exactly this guy wanted……

I wonder if this is some sort of false flag event…..

I’ll def keep this one earmarked and come back to it later. There is a lot going on right now with Afghanistan, and this crumbling Presidency, and this in conjunction with that seems highly suspicious.

Reuters reports:

A man who claimed to have a bomb in a pickup truck near the U.S. Capitol was taken into custody by police on Thursday after a five-hour standoff that prompted an evacuation of nearby buildings and paralyzed a section of Washington for much of the day.

“He stepped out and they got him. We have one in custody,” a police officer told Reuters.

CNN had more from earlier in the day:

The driver of the truck told the responding officer on the scene that he had a bomb and what appeared, the officer said, appeared to be a detonator in the man’s hand. So we immediately evacuated the nearby buildings,” Manger said.
Manger noted, “We don’t know what his motives are at this time.”

Manger said negotiations with the suspect are ongoing and that officers are communicating with the suspect. Negotiators are “hard at work” to ensure that the situation is resolved peacefully, he said.
