When the news cycle is constantly filled with agendas that seek to tear the fiber of this nation apart, it’s nice to remember that there are patriots who are doing everything they can to remind us of how great America truly is.
If you’ve been keeping an eye on the news, you know that the thorn in the left’s side is governors that lean on common sense, data, and science. On the top of that list is Governor Ron Desantis of Florida.
Desantis has repeatedly refused to sit at the “cool kids table” of woke politics, instead choosing to behave as a genuinely good human being and admirable leader.
More evidence of this took place on Wednesday. In his typical fashion, Desantis responded to cries, demanding he defund and villanize Florida by giving them one thousand-dollar bonuses. NBC Miami has more on this:
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said he will soon sign a budget that will include $1,000 bonuses for all police officers, firefighters and first responders in the state.
DeSantis discussed the bonuses during a news conference Wednesday at the Satellite Beach Police Department.
The Republican governor said the bonuses were done in part to honor the work first responders have done during the coronavirus pandemic.
It’s not as amazing as getting a puppy, but it’s way more than Portland is doing.
The governor announced it on his Twitter after the news conference, voicing his support of Florida first responders.
Some want to defund the police.

As if on que, the left mobbed Twitter to remind us of how horrible the governor really is.
But HOW they are coming after him is funnier than the last 7 years of Saturday Night Live combined.

It is yet unclear if the left realize conservatives ALSO know how to use Twitter…and have access to the hashtag tool.
Don’t be fooled folks, despite saving the local economy, stopping riots, and letting us go to Disney World, behind it all is a bad, scary, mean man. Providing bonuses to one hundred and seventy thousand first responders is further evidence of that evil.
It’s easy to get frustrated at the agenda of those that seek to undermine this nation. It’s also funny to laugh at their schemes.
Despite all the hate and negativity surrounding what Desantis has done, this moment serves as encouragement for those that truly believe in the greatness of this nation.
No matter how hard the left has come after Gov. Desantis about his policies, his influence has only increased. More people are moving to Florida. What’s more is that other governors, even from blue states have taken notice and are following suit.
Looking forward to seeing more from Desantis in the days ahead.
