The CIA Goes Full ‘Woke’

The CIA used to be a clandestine agency running covert operations all around the world with the objective of keeping American citizens safe.

The times have clearly changed!

Now we are watching as the CIA has gone full woke as it appears they are sacrificing integrity for wokeness with the release a new recruitment video posted to their own Twitter account.

A new recruitment video from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has been widely panned on social media for its use of terms that critics have described as “woke.”

The CIA shared the video on its Twitter account on April 28 but reaction to the ad has grown over the past few days. Many critics weighed in on the matter on Sunday. The video features a CIA officer, Mija, describing her own experience.

“I am unapologetically me. I want you to be unapologetically you, whoever you are. Whether you work at #CIA, or anywhere else in the world,” the tweet read. “Command your space. Mija, you are worth it.”

In the video, Mija says she suffered from “imposter syndrome” but she refuses to “internalize misguided patriarchal ideas of what a woman can or should be.”

In a longer version of the video also shared on Twitter, Mija says “I am intersectional” and describes herself as a “cisgender millennial.”

The choice of language led to accusations that the CIA is being too “woke” and that the video is disingenuous.

Some may write this off as being a non-starter saying it’s just a rank and file individual spouting off on social media.

This is quite the opposite as this video was shared from the actual verified CIA Twitter account.

Director and producer Robby Starbuck commented that this video is real and touched on the fact that the woke left is literally destroying every institution within the United States.

Of course, the mainstream media has to give cover to this type of behavior. They immediately polarize the issue reporting that this video is only infuriating conservatives.

MSN.com explains that this individual in the video was just acutely aware of her race and gender.

A 36-year-old CIA employee also wants you to know how else she sees herself — that she is proudly a “woman of color,” is “intersectional” and is a “cisgender millenial.”

But a video featuring the young Latina woman to promote diversity at the US spy agency has conservatives fuming that it has gone overboard with “wokeness” — a broad term for acute awareness of contemporary issues of race and gender, sometimes used with derision.

The backlash was sparked after the Central Intelligence Agency posted the slick promotional video on its YouTube channel as part of a series called “Humans of CIA.”

In it, the CIA employee proudly declares her success, using language that is familiar with younger Americans and intellectuals, but is derided as focusing too much on political correctness by many conservatives.

“I am a woman of color. I am a mom. I am a cisgender millennial who has been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder,” she says as she walks through the halls of the CIA.

Language that is familiar with younger Americans and intellectuals? I guess the average conservative isn’t hip enough to understand this young ‘woke intellectual’.

It’s good to know that one of the most respected and coveted agencies within the federal government has succumbed to the woke culture.

Even Meghan McCain weighed in on the issue condemning the CIA recruitment video.

You simply need to ask yourself, is this confused individual someone you want working in a government agency tasked with protecting our nation?
