President Trump isn’t playing around!
Doug Ducey has been urged to provide security for the audit being performed in Arizona right now. We all know how important and potentially damning this audit will be.
Doug Ducey shouldn’t turn a blind eye to what is going on, and according to President Trump, Ducey has been lukewarm about the whole thing.
I think that if there is nothing to hide why not allow an audit?
If I wanted to clear my name or get past something I would welcome any kind of chance I got to clear my name.
Take a look:
The left leaning Daily Beast reported:
It’s April 2021, and Donald Trump still can’t get past his grudge with Republican Gov. Doug Ducey for refusing to overturn the 2020 election results in Arizona.
The ex-president is still so bothered by Ducey’s refusal to try to throw out Democratic votes in Arizona that he’s told associates he would gladly and personally spoil any of Ducey’s future political plans. In recent weeks, the twice-impeached former president has gone so far as to tell some close associates that if Ducey decided to run for Senate and managed to lock up the Republican nomination in 2022, he would consider traveling to Arizona to campaign for Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly, according to two people familiar with the ex-president’s private rantings.
The Hill had more on the story:
In statements Friday and Saturday, Trump berated Ducey for what he deemed insufficient support for the effort. The former president maintains the audit push is necessary to detect what he says was voter fraud in November’s presidential race.
“Why are the Democrats so desperate to stop this Election Fraud from being revealed? That answer is obvious! The Governor of Arizona, Doug Ducey, has been shockingly of zero help to the State Senate. He wants to ‘pretend’ the election was free and fair. What are he and the Maricopa County Commissioners trying to hide?” Trump said in a statement Friday.
Trump resumed his campaign against Ducey early Saturday morning, pressing him to provide security for those conducting the audit.
