Social unrest may be coming everyone…..
Are YOU ready for it?
These lockdowns will have effects for YEARS to come. Social effects, political effects, and most noticeably economic effects.
It doesn’t take a genius to realize that these lockdowns were a horrible idea.
Now the U.S. Intelligence community is saying what we have all known to be true since day one: shutting down global economics is a HORRIBLE idea.
This whole thing was completely unnecessary. They created a big stink over a virus with a 99% survivability rate or something like that.
That’s not a pandemic. I don’t care how the word is thrown around. A pandemic is serious. What is going on now is ridiculous and it needs to end immediately.
Is it too late for us though?
U.S. intel seems to think that the damage has already been done….
Take a look:
CNN had more on the story:
The fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic is poised to fracture societies worldwide, increase instability across the globe and reshape political and economic realities for years to come, the US intelligence community warned in a stark report laying out the top security concerns facing the country.
"The economic fallout from the pandemic is likely to create or worsen instability in at least a few—and perhaps many—countries, as people grow more desperate in the face of interlocking pressures that include sustained economic downturns, job losses, and disrupted supply chains," the report warns.
That dire economic picture boosts the risk of internal conflicts, surges in cross-border migration and even the collapse of national governments, officials warned.
The report, known as the Annual Threat Assessment, is typically made public annually.
Fox News reported:
The U.S. intelligence community warned that China will attempt to use "vaccine diplomacy" to increase its influence around the world amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, in coordination with Intelligence Community leaders, on Tuesday released an unclassified annual report of worldwide threats to the national security of the United States.
"In the coming year, the United States and its allies will face a diverse array of threats that are playing out amidst the global disruption resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and against the backdrop of great power competition, the disruptive effects of ecological degradation and a changing climate, an increasing number of empowered non-state actors, and rapidly evolving technology," the report states.
The intelligence community went on to warn that the COVID-19 pandemic "will continue to strain" governments and societies, and fuel "humanitarian and economic crises, political unrest, and geopolitical competition."
