Democrats just cannot let President Donald Trump go.
They have to keep him around as a “trump card” to play whenever they need somebody to blame other than themselves.
This disgusting behavior from the democrats just hit a new low (if you can believe that).
Senator Chuck Schumer discussed the recent shootings in Atlanta that left 8 people dead, 6 of which were of Asian decent.
Schumer put the blame solely at the feet of former President Donald Trump, saying that President Trump “refused to condemn the bigotry” against people of Asian decent.
“In the last four years, we all know there have been forces of racism, dark forces that have been often seen in America, but the last four years, where Donald Trump at the very minimum refused to condemn the bigotry in the instances when he should, have allowed them to come far more up to the surface.”
The Washington Examiner has more on Schumer's comments:
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said former President Donald Trump bears responsibility for the rise in violent attacks against Asian Americans.
Speaking on the Senate floor Thursday, Schumer said the former president stirred up “dark forces" of hate for the Asian American community by blaming the COVID-19 pandemic on the Chinese and by refusing to denounce other forms of racism plaguing the country.
“Somehow, after four years of the Trump presidency, they are rising to the surface and seem too acceptable to too many people,” the New York Democrat said.
Schumer made the remarks two days after a white man killed eight people, six of whom were women of Asian descent, who worked at massage parlors in the Atlanta area. The man appeared to be targeting the massage parlors and not Asian people specifically, but hate crimes against Asian Americans have been on the rise in 16 cities, according to the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University at San Bernardino, which analyzed police data.
The rest of the democrats are falling in line with what Schumer said.
The entirety of the Joe Biden presidency has been to blame Donald Trump for everything that goes wrong.
It's disingenuous, disturbing, and disgusting behaviour that we've come to expect from democrats.
Fox News has more on democrats and their gross blame game:
Liberals were quick to blame former-President Trump, Republicans and anti-Asian racism for the string of Tuesday night shootings at Atlanta-area massage parlors, despite not knowing what motivated the killer.
The horrific shooting left eight people dead and another person injured, and a suspect in custody has taken "full responsibility," according to law enforcement. Police said two of the victims were White, while the other six victims were Asian-Americans. Racism is not currently believed to be a motive.
Liberal pundit Kurt Bardella, who recently advised the now-disgraced Lincoln Project, appeared on MSNBC’s "Morning Joe" to assume xenophobia was the motive. Bardella has been outspoken over recent violence against Asians and anticipated the Atlanta shootings were the latest example.
"It really is a sickening feeling to start your day, and go through the motions of your day, knowing that going through everyday activities could result in violence [against] me because of the way that I look. And I go back to why is this happening," Bardella said. "Why have we seen, according to new data, this huge uptick in violence against Asian-Americans?"
Bardella, a former House Republican aide, then answered his own question and blamed the GOP.
"It all coincides with the timing of the Republican Party using terms like ‘China virus’ and ‘Kung-Flu,’" Bardella said, noting that Trump used the "inflammatory rhetoric" himself.
Jen Psaki also baselessly blamed President Trump for the rise in Asian-American violence, as did other liberals on Twitter:
What democrats refuse to talk about are actual statistics from the FBI which show that most Asian-American violence is perpetuated by African-Americans.
These statistics combined with openly racist statements published by left-wing news outlets paints a very different picture than "It's all Trump's fault."
The Washington Examiner has more on these statistics:
According to the Justice Department, 27.5% of all violent crimes against Asian Americans in 2018 were committed by black people. That’s over 50,000 incidents in a single year. White criminals and Asian criminals each accounted for 24.1% of all attacks on Asians. Asian people, similar to their white counterparts, are underrepresented in violent crimes committed to the proportion of the population they make up. In 2019, Asians made up 6.2% of the population but just 1% of the perpetrators of violent crime. White people are 62% of the population but commit 50% of violent crimes.
This bears note in light of the Left’s narrative that white Trump supporters are propelled toward violence against Asian Americans because of xenophobia, racism, and Trump’s usage of "China virus" when speaking about the coronavirus. The narrative falls apart very quickly when observing the data.
Some left-wing outlets such as Vox have claimed that interracial violence between black and Asian people is a consequence of white supremacy. While being ridiculous at face value, it’s also unverifiable, which likely is the point. If you can’t disprove something based on data, then you can perpetuate the narrative. The same liberals who’ve said that white supremacy is to blame for anti-Asian crime are also some of the same people who have said Asians are white-adjacent and benefit from white privilege.
But we should note that the progressive war on merit has made Asian Americans a constant target. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Education Department sponsored a panel in 2019 to discuss how Asians benefit from white privilege. The Washington Post has published multiple op-eds suggesting that Asian success is due to white people no longer being racist toward them. The founder of the 1619 Project has repeatedly claimed that Asians receive special benefits from being white-adjacent.
