President Trump Endorses Arkansas Sen. John Boozman For Reelection

President Trump has just endorsed another Senator.

Senator John Boozman of Arkansas just received an official endorsement from President Trump.

In Trump’s endorsement letter he stated that Boozman  “is tough on Crime, strong on the Border, a great supporter of our Military and our Vets, and fights for our farmers every day”.

Sen. Boozman responded by saying he was “grateful” for Trump’s endorsement.

Earlier in February President Trump endorsed his former Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee who will be running for the Governor of Arkansas and now she just endorsed Boozman too.

President Trump has thrown his weight behind Republican Sen. John Boozman, Ark., who recently announced a 2022 reelection bid.

“Senator John Boozman is a great fighter for the people of Arkansas,” read a Monday statement from Trump.

“He is tough on Crime, strong on the Border, a great supporter of our Military and our Vets, and fights for our farmers every day. He supports our Second Amendment and has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”

Boozman responded on Monday, saying he was grateful to have Trump’s endorsement.

“I’m grateful to have Pres. Trump’s endorsement for my re-election to the Senate,” he said in a tweet.

“We worked together to lower taxes, roll back regulations, secure our border, defend our Second Amendment rights and Protect Life.”

Boozman  originally agreed to object to the certification of the 2021 United States Electoral College vote count but like many others decided to change his vote at the last minute after the Capitol was infiltrated.

Hopefully, President Trump gave him a good stern warning about making that same mistake twice.

At least when the impeachment trial came around Boozman stood up for Trump and said the trial was unconstitutional.

“Senator John Boozman is a great fighter for the people of Arkansas. He is tough on Crime, strong on the Border, a great supporter of our Military and our Vets, and fights for our farmers every day. He supports our Second Amendment and has my Complete and Total Endorsement!” Trump wrote in a statement released through his Save America political action committee.

Boozman has served in the Senate since 2011. In 2016, he defeated U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge with 59.8 percent of the vote.
