Pelosi Is Dodging The Serious Questions Regarding The January 6th Riots

According to reports Nancy Pelosi is trying to start up a 9-11 style commission to inquire further into the events of January 6th, instead of answering the GOP.

What a scam!

Recently, our very own Anthony T wrote an article about how GOP lawmakers wanted answers for why she denied a request for national guard presence on January 4th.

This is some pretty serious stuff here, in fact it should be dominating the news cycle! This is ALL we should be talking about right now.

There was a massive insurrection right?

People have to pay for betraying the country and ‘the deepest expressions of our democracy’ right?

Well, who denied the troop presence to counter that insurrection, hmmmm?

According to the reports compiled in the article above, it was none other than Nancy Pelosi.

The GOP has some questions for her of course, and we ALL should, so what was her response? Complete deflection of course!

Instead of just answering the questions laid before her by Republican lawmakers, she has instead chosen to announce a 9-11 style commision to investigate the events of January 6th.

Give me a break Pelosi! You are the MOST corrupt politician in The U.S. right now! I never want to hear about ‘democracy’ or ‘our hallowed institutions’ from her ever again!

Here are the latest reports:

Fox News reported:

The Republicans, in their letter to Pelosi Monday morning, questioned: "When then-Chief Sund made a request for National Guard support on Jan. 4, why was that request denied? Did Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving get permission or instruction from your staff on Jan. 4 prior to denying Chief Sund’s request for the National Guard?"

Davis, Jordan, Comer and Nunes pointed to claims made by former Capitol Police Chief Steve Sund, that he, on Jan. 4, approached the sergeant-at-arms to request the assistance of the National Guard. Sund, in a letter to Pelosi last month, said Irving replied that he was concerned about "the optics" and didn’t feel the "intelligence supported it."

"As you are aware, the speaker of the House is not only the leader of the majority party, but also has enormous institutional responsibilities," they wrote. "The speaker is responsible for all operational decisions made within the House."

The House sergeant-at-arms and the Senate sergeant-at-arms, Michael Stenger, were removed from their positions and Chief Sund resigned after the riot.

CNN had more:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced in a letter to House Democrats on Monday plans for the creation of a "9/11-type commission" to investigate the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.

"To protect our security, our security, our security, our next step will be to establish an outside, independent 9/11-type Commission to 'investigate and report on the facts and causes relating to the January 6, 2021 domestic terrorist attack upon the United States Capitol Complex,'" Pelosi wrote.

Pelosi has previously called for the formation of such a commission and said she believes there is a need for it.

A commission of this nature would be established by a statute, passed by both chambers and signed into law by the President. The commission members would not be elected leaders and would be outside the government.
