Patriots attempted to storm the Oregon Capitol building, screaming “Arrest Kate Brown!”

According to her critics, Oregon Governor Kate Brown has implemented some of the most draconian lockdown orders in the country.

This includes a 14 day statewide “freeze.”

Anyone caught violating the freeze is could face citations, fines, or even arrest.

Well…

Patriots in Oregon had enough!

Here is some on-the-ground footage of patriots storming the capitol building.

When the mainstream media gets a hold of this story, they will spin it as “radicals” or “conspiracy theorists.”

However…

Just remember that when the fascists did it over the summer (“autonomous zones”) Democrats didn’t care.

Mayors, governors, and yes, even the mainstream media didn’t care.

In fact, some Democrats appeared to even be sympathetic towards these autonomous zones, which took over large city blocks!

Yet when patriots simply want to get inside the Capitol Building to peacefully protest, they are met with a large security force!

More footage from the protest can be viewed below:

It appears the only reason this was declared an “unlawful assembly” is because of COVID-19.

Local News Channel 21 has more details:

Police declared an unlawful assembly at Oregon’s Capitol building Monday morning as protesters gathered and some attempted to force their way in during the third special legislative session of the year.

Lawmakers are at the Capitol to consider measures that would provide $800 million in relief to people struggling from the COVID-19 pandemic and this summer’s massive wildfires.

“Open up!” the group chanted, which could well have two meanings – one, to open the Capitol, closed for the one-day session due to COVID-19 health restrictions, but also calling on the state to let businesses reopen and end the restrictions under Gov. Kate Brown’s executive orders, aimed at curbing the spread of of COVID-19.

Several protesters in the crowd held President Trump campaign signs, while others openly carried weapons, KPTV reported.

Salem police urged motorists to avoid streets in the area of the Capitol, which they said in a tweet would be “closed as needed.”

The Statesman Journal reported that a smaller group of protesters were successful in entering a portion of the Capitol building, while protesters outside banged their fists against the doors chanting, “Let us in.” At least two people were arrested.

Oregon State Police and Salem police “were able to get everyone out of the building,” troopers said later. Two who refused to leave the building were taken into custody.

“The Oregon State Police encourage people to exercise their First Amendment rights, but it must be lawfully,” troopers said in a statement. ” Please, discontinue the acts of vandalism or destruction of property. If you commit a crime, you will be subject to arrest.”

The Capitol is closed to the public during the special session as part of a COVID-19 safety measure. However virtual testimony about the proposed bills that are expected to be discussed by lawmakers Monday was allowed during Thursday and Saturday hearings,.

There were tense moments inside and outside the Capitol.

On the Senate floor Monday morning, Republican Sen. Dallas Heard stood before his colleagues, accusing Democrats and Senate President Peter Courtney of joining Gov. Kate Brown’s “campaign against the people and the children of God.”

The senator from Roseburg called the special session “illegitimate,” as the public is not allowed inside and described it as an “unchecked assault” against people and their freedom.

Notice how despite all the guns were present, no one was hurt!

Because good guys with guns DO NOT hurt people!

Far left publications are already referring to it as a “heavily armed far-right mob.”

It’s funny how they attack these patriots…

Yet said nothing when radical leftists and communists took over entire city blocks this past summer!

Here’s how The Daily Beast appears to be spinning this story:

A group of about 300 demonstrators attempted to force their way into two separate entrances of the Oregon State Capitol on Monday, outraged lawmakers were holding a special session closed to the public.

The crowd was a loose collection of members of the Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer and other far-right groups, many of them are armed with pistols and rifles. At one point during the demonstration, which began around 9 a.m., a woman tried to climb in a window on the west side of the government building. Oregon State Troopers, however, repelled her—before two more troopers showed up to insist that she get off the ledge.

Those troopers were quickly chased off by screaming protesters, many of them toting long black rifles.

Minutes later, the crowd moved to the building’s north entrance and attempted to push their way in. A dozen more troopers arrived at the door, declared it an unlawful assembly, and pushed the crowd back, using some kind of deterrent in a series of “pop” sounds, at which point the protesters swarmed back out again, their eyes watering and coughing.
