Is This Why Mitch McConnell Just Sold Out President Trump?

The 2020 election has completely exposed many so-called Trump supporters.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnel recently shocked many Republicans by congratulating Joe Biden on his supposedĀ  “election win” and at the same time urged the GOP to not object to the electoral college vote.

Many were completely shocked by his announcement and his betrayal of President Trump but now we might know why he did it.

McConnellā€™s in-laws who operate the Foremost Group have ordered 10 massive cargo ships from the Communist Chinese government since his wife Elaine Chao became the United States Secretary of Transportation.

Sen. McConnell has also reportedly received a 5 million dollar gift from his father-in-law James Chao who has deep ties to China.

A 5 million dollar gift without doing any favors?

That’s hard to believe.

It looks like McConnell has a lot of explaining to do and fast!

Breitbart News broke the story and shared these details:

Then on January 31, 2018, Foremost Group ordered four more 210,000-ton ships from CSSC. Angela Chao, sister to Sec. Elaine Chao and Foremostā€™s Deputy Chairman, said she expects cooperation between the two entities to extend into the future. In January 2017, Angela Chao joined the board of the state-owned Bank of China.

The finances of Sec. Elaine Chao and her husband, Sen. Mitch McConnell, are closely tied to the Foremost Group. In 2008, James Chao gave a $5 million-$25 million ā€œgiftā€ to Sen. McConnell, more than tripling his net worth. Contracts with other Chinese state-owned enterprises make up a significant portion of Foremostā€™s business. James and Angela Chao previously served on the board of CSSC Holdings, a major contractor for the Chinese military and a key supporter of the PLA Navy.

The Chaoā€™s Chinese counterparties are often closely aligned with Chinaā€™s foreign policy elite. CPAFFC President Li Xiaolin, attended the book event with the Chaoā€™s. She is the daughter of a former Chinese president and wife of a former Major General in the Peopleā€™s Liberation Army (PLA). Another official in attendance now serves as Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department, a division of the Communist Party involved in managing foreign relationships.

The National File reported these shocking details:

As news breaks Tuesday of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnellā€™s praise for the United Statesā€™ election ā€œprocessā€ and declaration of ā€œcongratulationsā€ for ā€œPresident-elect Joe Biden,ā€ the Kentucky senatorā€™s extensive family ties to China have resurfaced as a topic of conversation.
McConnellā€™s marriage into the Chao family dynasty has coincided with a trajectory of ever-increasing personal profit for McConnell and the Chaos, as well as Chinese state business interests.

McConnellā€™s wife, Elaine Chao, is the daughter of shipping magnates James and Ruth Chao and the sister of Angela Chao, the latter of whom was appointed to a non-executive position on the Bank of Chinaā€™s board of directors in 2016.

A massive spike in McConnellā€™s financial disclosures occurred in 2007 and 2008 following the death of Ruth Chao, with the senatorā€™s federal disclosure jumping from $3 million to $33 million in that two year span according to Forbes.

McConnellā€™s re-election campaigns have received over $1 million in contributions from Elaine Chaoā€™s family, including James and Angela, according to a 2019 report from the New York Times.

Now it looks like McConnell and Chinese Communist leader Xi Jinping have something in common.

They both congratulated Biden on his “win”.

Sadly, it looks like McConnell is another politician that is sold-out.
