I feel like some of you need to hear this right now.
I have been telling you for several weeks now that our Red Sea Moment is coming.
But we’re not there yet.
Before the miracle comes, things often look the darkest.
Before the Red Sea parted and the Israelites were able to walk across on dry land, things looked REALLY grim.
Pharaoh’s Army was in hot pursuit with chariots and the full army of Egypt in pursuit.
And the Israelites had nothing.
No defenses.
No weapons.
And no where to flee.
Until the Miracle came.
Does that sound similar to how it looks right now?
The Supreme Court refuses to even hear the case, let alone rule on anything.
See no evil…🙈
Hear no evil…🙉
Taste no evil…🙊
When things looked the worst, all the Israelites could do was complain:
Then they said to Moses, “Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us in this way, bringing us out of Egypt? Exodus 14:11
No offense, but that sounds like some of you right now!
This is not the time to give up.
It’s the time to keep fighting and to expect a Red Sea Moment to come soon!
Even at the very end, God didn’t just do it for them.
Did you know that?
Read this:
13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. 17 I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. 18 The Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen.”
19 Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel’s army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, 20 coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.
Moses tells the people the Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.
But the Lord didn’t totally agree with that.
He immediately says back to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on! Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water!”
Notice!
They had to do something.
The Israelites had to keep moving and Moses had to raise his staff and stretch out his hand.
Now of course the Lord is the one who brought the miracle, but the people had to participate.
And that’s my message to you.
Stop whining.
Stop complaining.
Stop worrying.
And fight!
Take action!
