Try fact-checking this, "fact checkers."
President Trump's most memorable line of the night is arguably:
I've done more in 47 months than you did in 47 years.
Biden attempted to paint Trump as the "worst president ever."
Yet…
Aside from the widely criticized 90s crime bill, can you name one of Joe Biden's accomplishments?
Meanwhile, with President Trump, we have:
Lower taxes…
A stronger military…
Support for law enforcement…
The strongest economy ever prior to the Wuhan plague…
And much more!
The media can't "fact check" President Trump's assertion that he's done more than Joe Biden.
So what do they attack?
Turns out Trump has been in office 45 years instead of 47.
So...
The media is calling him a liar because of that.
Business Insider reports:
"The fact is, I did more in 47 months as president than Joe Biden did in 47 years."
However, Trump was sworn in as president on January 20, 2017, meaning his presidency is currently in its 45th month. He and Vice President Mike Pence won the election on November 8, 2016, but did not enter office until his inauguration in January.
In his speech, Trump went on to brag about killing Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the former leader of ISIS, and the assassination of Qasem Soleimani, an Iranian major general, an action that has been described as "tantamount to an act of war" with a country that the US is not at war with.
FiveThirtyEight's national polling average shows Biden holds a steady lead over Trump in the 2020 election. As of September 13, the averages show 50.6% of those polled said they would vote for Biden, while 43.4% said they would vote for Trump. However, Trump won the 2016 election despite consistently lagging behind Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in the polls.
You know things are bad when the media is focused on the numbers...
Instead of trying to actually debunk the SUBSTANCE of President Trump's claim!
