It seems that violent leftists are finally starting to be held accountable for their actions.
The two Delaware women who were video recorded after stealing a MAGA hat from a 7-year-old boy, and then attacking adults who tried to intervene on the boy’s behalf, are now facing criminal charges.
Those charges include second-degree robbery and felony hate crimes.
This is what happens when adults attack a child.
Let’s hope these two get the book thrown at them by a judge.
Fox News reports on the charges:
Two Delaware women accused of stealing a MAGA hat outside the Democratic National Convention were indicted Tuesday on charges including second-degree robbery and felony hate crimes.
Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy, both 21, were indicted by a grand jury on charges of second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault, attempted third-degree assault, offensive touching and felony hate crimes, Delaware Online reported.
Three of the charges are felonies, and the two women could spend a total of 15 years in prison, according to Delaware Online.
Winslow and Amy are out on bail, a spokesperson for Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings told Delaware Online.
"[H]arming another person – let alone a child – because of the expression of their views betrays the principles on which our country was founded," Jennings said in a statement to Delaware Online.
The two women were arrested in connection with a viral video that allegedly showed the suspects ripping up Trump signs and stealing a MAGA hat near the site of Democrat Joe Biden's acceptance speech in August.
The actions taken by these two women were absolutely heinous.
To go after a child the way they did is an act of pure evil, and the fact that it was all over a red cap proves just how insane leftists have become.
In their deranged psyche, a red cap is considered more violent than actual violence, as Twitter users have sarcastically pointed out.
Delaware Online news journal has more on the incident:
Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy, both 21 and from Wilmington, were indicted by a New Castle County grand jury on Tuesday on charges of second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault, attempted third-degree assault, offensive touching and felony hate crimes.
In a video posted on social media, Winslow and Amy were seen damaging signs and taking a red MAGA hat from a group of Trump supporters protesting the nomination of former Vice President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee for president.
A young boy in the video can be heard saying, "That's somebody else's hat," after Winslow appears to pick it up off the ground and throws it.
"Call 911," the boy says to his mother as the two women walk away with the hat.
The video, posted by the Students for Trump Twitter account, appears to show two women taking a MAGA hat from a boy before getting into an altercation.
Later in the video, a man attempting to get the hat back appears to be punched by the second suspect, who later throws the hat over a fence.
Video of the confrontation, posted by Students for Trump on Twitter, has been viewed millions of times and was shared by Trump's son Donald Jr.
Winslow and Amy were arrested shortly after the incident. Wilmington police said they identified the two after reviewing the video footage.
There should be no sympathy for these women.
People of all political persuasions should agree to have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior.
Unfortunately, some still refuse to see the evil in these womens' actions.
It's funny how liberals dislike the idea of hate crime laws when they're used against them.
Call it what you will, This was justice.
