Kamala Harris has some strange priorities it seems.

Harris had a phone meeting with Jacob Blake, the man shot by police after refusing to comply with their orders, and instead going to his car where a knife was hidden while his kids were still in the car.

Democrats are leveraging Jacob Blake into becoming the latest “victim” of police brutality, so this isn’t surprising.

Harris described Jacob Blake and his family as an “incredible family” and told Blake she was proud of him.

The Hill has more on Harris' visit with the Blake family:

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) on Monday privately met with the family of Jacob Blake, the Black man who was shot several times in the back by police in Kenosha, Wis., last month.

Harris met with members of the Blake family as she made her first appearance in Wisconsin since being selected as Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's running mate. Harris met with the family and members of Blake's legal team at a private airport in Milwaukee, a Biden campaign official said, adding that Harris spoke with Blake by phone during the meeting.

Benjamin Crump, an attorney representing the Blake family, said in a statement that Harris spoke with the family about how they’re handling the trauma of the shooting. She also addressed the Biden campaign’s policy goals, including the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, a bill focusing on police practices and law enforcement accountability.

Blake, 29, was repeatedly shot in the back by a Kenosha police officer on Aug. 23 after officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. Video of the incident captured a white police officer trailing Blake and firing his weapon seven times as Blake leaned into his vehicle. Blake is now paralyzed from the waist down, according to his family.

Footage of the shooting quickly spread online and reignited demonstrations in Kenosha and other U.S. cities. Some of the protests gave way to violence and the destruction of property, which President Trump has claimed is a product of poorly run Democratic-led cities.

Democrats have absolutely no shame.

They would gladly help make a criminal who endangered the lives of his own children by fighting with police into a victim if it helps them get more votes this November.

This is beyond disgusting.

CBS News has more on the meting:

The Blake family's attorney, Benjamin Crump, said in a statement that Blake joined the hourlong meeting with Harris over the phone.

Harris "spoke individually with each family member about how they were handling the trauma and urged them to take care of their physical and mental health," Crump said.

Crump said there was a "moving moment" when Blake told Harris "that he was proud of her," and Harris said "she was also proud of him and how he is working through his pain."

Harris also spoke about plans she and Biden have to address bias and wrongdoing by police, Crump said. She encouraged the family "to use their voices even through their pain to help America make progress to end systemic racism," Crump said.

Blake, 29, was shot multiple times in the back by Kenosha police officer Rusten Sheskey during an arrest on August 23. He survived but was left paralyzed from the waist down.

It was a "moving moment" for Blake and Harris to say they're proud of one another?

I'm not sure "proud" is the correct word anyone should use to describe their opinions of either one of them...
