Hmm, it appears that Goodyear Tires thought that they could get away with proclaiming their “anti-Trump” views and force others to follow – all without any backlash…

Not looking like a good year for business, Goodyear.

They really didn’t think that someone would grab a photo of this and speak out on social media, in today’s day and age?

Fox Business reports:

A Goodyear employee in Kansas is calling the company’s new zero-tolerance policy “discriminatory” after the company told workers that it is acceptable to wear attire supporting certain social and political causes like Black Lives Matter while labeling others like MAGA and Blue Lives Matter as unacceptable.

The photo shared to social media after a recent diversity training session at the plant in Topeka showed a Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company slide with two categories: Acceptable and Unacceptable, WIBW-TV first reported.

WIBW-TV first reported:

According to the employee who took the photo of the slide, it was presented at the Topeka plant by an area manager and says the slide came from their corporate office out of Akron, Ohio.
"If someone wants to wear a BLM shirt in here, then cool. I'm not going to get offended about it. But at the same time, if someone's not going to be able to wear something that is politically based, even in the farthest stretch of the imagination, that's discriminatory," said the employee under the agreement of anonymity due to fears they could lose their job. "If we're talking about equality, then it needs to be equality. If not, it's discrimination."

13 NEWS has reached out to Goodyear about the slide. They did not answer questions when asked if the slide was part of a training from their main office.

Today on August 19th, after social media backlash started to get picked up by the mainstream media, Goodyear relesed there press statement on Twitter:
