Rioters In Seattle Call For City’s Help Over Literal Dumpster Fire Outside CHAZ Zone

AUTONOMOUS ZONE "CITIZENS" OVERWHELMED BY SEATTLE DUMPSTER FIRE

They always come crawling back.

Fairweather friends, needy exes, former citizens of Seattle…just to name a few.

Some relationships are plain ol’ dumpster fires.

Just ask Julio Rosas, who has been embedded in the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,” or “CHAZ” for TownHall.

Motives for the fire were unknown, but there are a few possibilites.

Warmth? Garbage removal? The peaceful protestor's primal need to burn stuff?

What is clear is that this newfound people's society was driven to the brink by this raging inferno, and did the unthinkable.

They called the fire department.

I for one am disappointed at their lack of commitment.

But what this comical irony underscores is the dangerous precedent set by the lack of leadership in the Democrat city.

What will be done to end the siege of Seattle by lawless rioters?

As noted by our friends at Fox News, police chief Carmen Best and mayor Jenny Durkan couldn't be further apart:

The two city officials have repeatedly given diverging messages over the ongoing situation in Seattle, compounding speculation of rising tensions behind closed doors.

Best, in an interview with "Good Morning America on Friday," said she was angry about the protester takeover.

“I am very angry about the situation that we have and at this point we just want to make sure that it gets resolved,” she said.

Durkan, on the other hand, expressed her support for the peaceful demonstrations and described it as an act of "patriotism."

“Lawfully gathering and expressing First Amendment rights, demanding we do better as a society, and providing true equity for communities of color is not terrorism. It’s patriotism,” the mayor said at a press conference.

The First Amendment does not authorize the forceful takeover of an American city by rioting residents.

Will Durkan draw the line at dumpsters? Or will she applaud these "patriots" when they set entire blocks ablaze in "protest?"

By failing to act, Durkan is creating a monster where criminals can ransack entire neighborhoods and call the Nanny State to clean up their mess free of charge.
