‘Impeachment’ seems to be one of the few words the Democrats know these days.
After months of shouting “Russia Russia Russia” they have now moved on to a new buzzphrase: impeachment.
But much like the Russian Collusion Delusion, it appears the Impeachment push is also on very shakey ground.
President Trump broke the news about the new allegations this morning on his Twitter:
The Hill had this to report:
Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was hit with another accusation of unwanted sexual contact by a male classmate who said he witnessed Kavanaugh expose himself and press his genitals against a woman without her consent.
The New York Times reported Saturday that the latest allegation, which has until now not been public, was reported to the FBI during Kavanaugh's Supreme Court confirmation process last year but was not investigated by the FBI.
In the Times report, two FBI officials told the newspaper that a Yale classmate of Kavanaugh's, D.C.-based nonprofit owner Max Stier, said that he had witnessed Kavanaugh expose himself at a party before other students pushed Kavanaugh's genitals into the hand of a female student, apparently without her consent.
The Hill has reached out to the Supreme Court for comment.
Stier did not speak publicly about the story, according to the Times, but two officials reportedly corroborated his account to the FBI with the newspaper.
The allegation is the latest to be made public in a list of accusations of unwanted sexual contact or sexual assault that Kavanaugh has faced since he was first nominated to the Supreme Court by President Trump.
Despite a tumultuous confirmation process culminating in emotional testimony from both Kavanaugh and one of his accusers, Christine Blasey Ford, he was eventually confirmed to the court in a narrow Senate vote.
Kavanaugh has denied all of the allegations that he has faced, calling them politically motivated, and he declined to answer questions about Stier's allegations to the Times on Saturday.
President Trump then posted this to Facebook:
And from Breitbart:
The New York Times claimed Saturday that a new accuser witnessed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh committing an act of sexual misconduct as a freshman at Yale University.
The Times‘ Robin Pogrebin & Kate Kelly report, in an article that appears in Sunday’s print edition:
We also uncovered a previously unreported story about Mr. Kavanaugh in his freshman year that echoes Ms. [Deborah] Ramirez’s allegation. A classmate, Max Stier, saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student. Mr. Stier, who runs a nonprofit organization in Washington, notified senators and the F.B.I. about this account, but the F.B.I. did not investigate and Mr. Stier has declined to discuss it publicly. (We corroborated the story with two officials who have communicated with Mr. Stier.)
The Times‘ story, HuffPost reports, was marred somewhat by a tweet sent by the Times‘s Twitter account to promote the story that claimed: “Having a penis thrust in your face at a drunken dorm party may seem like harmless fun.”
The Daily Caller reported on the new push for impeachment:
Sen. Kamala Harris and fellow Democratic presidential candidate Julian Castro are calling for Congress to impeach sitting Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh after a report Saturday resurrected allegations against the justice.
“I sat through those hearings. Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people,” the California senator said in a tweet Sunday. “He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice. He must be impeached.”

Harris was reacting to a story Saturday in The New York Times from reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, who authored a forthcoming book about the justice called “The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation.” The pair reported they reached seven individuals who could further corroborate Deborah Ramirez’s accusation.
“It’s more clear than ever that Brett Kavanaugh lied under oath. He should be impeached,” former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Castro said on Twitter Saturday night.
Another candidate was more circumspect. “My concern here is that the process was a sham. I don’t think you can look at impeachment hearings without getting the documents … and the attorney general is shielding documents,” Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota said in an ABCinterview Sunday morning.
President Donald Trump, meanwhile, blasted the report and told his Twitter followers Sunday that Kavanaugh “should start suing people for libel.”
Here are some of my favorite reactions on Twitter:
And my favorite comes from Mike Huckabee:
After being sold out for 3 months, they're finally back in stock!
Only while they last.
