Ocasio-Cortez Says Fox News ‘Inspired’ Threats on Her Life!

New York Democrat and House Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is no stranger to controversy, nor to outrageous statements that at many times cannot be backed up by facts.\

Well, just this past Tuesday, in her latest rant, AOC accused Fox News of inciting death threats against her.

“What people don’t (maybe do) realize is when orgs air these hateful messages, my life changes bc of the flood of death threats they inspire. I‘ve had mornings where I wake up & the 1st thing I do w/ my coffee is review photos of the men (it’s always men) who want to kill me,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.

Is there any hard evidence for these accusations, AOC? Any proof that Fox News is somehow out to get you?

Don’t worry; I’ll wait. And I’m not exactly holding my breath here.

According to the Washington Examiner:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Tuesday that Fox News had inspired many of the death threats against her.

“What people don’t (maybe do) realize is when orgs air these hateful messages, my life changes bc of the flood of death threats they inspire. I‘ve had mornings where I wake up & the 1st thing I do w/ my coffee is review photos of the men (it’s always men) who want to kill me,” the New York Democrat said on Twitter.

“I don’t even get to see all of them. Just the ones that have been flagged as particularly troubling. It happens whenever Fox gets particularly aggressive + hateful, too. Young interns have to constantly hear hateful messages (far beyond disagreement) from ppl we don’t even rep,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

Ocasio-Cortez’s condemnation of death threats was in response to a video aired at a Memorial Day game by minor league baseball team the Fresno Grizzlies that compared the freshman congresswoman to Kim Jong Un and Fidel Castro.

Many rushed to Twitter to echo this sentiment upon seeing the Fresno Grizzlies’ edits:

The thing here is, I personally watch Fox News. I know many others who do so as well. It is, and has been, the number 1 cable news network in the nation for quite some time.

Fox News does NOT spread hate.

The only hate I see on that channel are the reports coming out of leftist rhetoric and radical agendas to silence freedom of speech and expression.

The only hate I see is when people like AOC issue baseless accusations and attacks on the right to immediately put them on the defensive and paint them into a corner, stifling any progress or reasonable debate.

The only hate I see is coming from a party that supports late term abortions and illegals coming across our borders.

The only hate I see comes from the very power-hungry Democrats who accuse the other side of that which they are doing.
