BACKBONE: Mitch McConnell Just Shut Down Tim Kaine’s Move To Reopen The Government Without The Wall!

Not gonna work Tim!

Oh Tim….did you really think you’d get that through?

Not on Mitch McConnell’s watch!

While we haven’t always been huge Mitch McConnell fans here at WeLoveTrump, we have to admit he’s made some good moves recently.

And this one was another huge win, stopping Tim Kaine’s plan dead in it’s tracks.

Help Send Nancy Pelosi a TRUCKLOAD of Bricks!

As our friends at MAGAvoter explain:

In a move on Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell denied an effort spearheaded by Democrat Tim Kaine to force a reopening of the federal government, without providing funding for President Trump’s border wall.

Blocking the legislation, McConnell made it clear that any bill relating to funding of the government will be blocked until Democrats, bound to the political whims of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, negotiate with the president regarding his plans to bolster border security.

“The solution to this, is a negotiation between the one person in the country who can sign something into law – the President of the United States, and our Democratic colleagues,” said McConnell, echoing sentiments of fellow Republicans as the shutdown continues.

While Democrats appear to remain loosely united behind Speaker Pelosi’s vows to oppose any and all increases to security measures along the US-Mexico border, as the shutdown nears its fourth complete week, the party shows signs of buckling under the pressure.

After cancelling President Trump’s planned State of the Union address on Wednesday, the president responded by cancelling Pelosi’s overseas trip, citing the need to end the shutdown first.
