CALL THEIR BLUFF? Border Patrol Union VP Just Issued Big Challenge To Pelosi and Schumer!

The challenge arose on the heels of a very contentious meeting in the White House between President Trump, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.  

Rumor has it Mike Pence was in attendance too.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday threatened to shut down the government in a heated debate with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker-designate Nancy Pelosi. 

Trump told Schumer and Pelosi he'd be "proud to shut down the government" if Democrats don't help him gain funding for the wall he wants to build along the US-Mexico border. Lawmakers are seeking to avoid a partial government shutdown on December 21, when funding for several agencies is set to expire. 

"I am proud to shut down the government for border security, Chuck, because the people of this country don't want criminals, and people that have lots of problems, and drugs pouring into our country," Trump said. "So I will take the mantle. I will be the one to shut it down. I'm not going to blame you for it — the last time you shut it down, it didn't work. I will take the mantle of shutting it down. And I'm going to shut it down for border security." 

Schumer and Pelosi implored Trump to not shut down the government over the issue. 

"This has spiraled downward," Pelosi said during the impassioned exchange. 

Following the meeting, Schumer said a shutdown would hurt "too many innocent people" and slammed Trump for throwing a "temper tantrum."

During the explosive press conference President Trump repeatedly interrupted the Democrat leaders as they attempted to downplay the seriousness of the open border and as they downplayed the much-needed border wall.

The Democrat leaders were not used to being called out on their lies.

Trump called out the Democrat leaders — corrected them on border security — interrupted their talking points — and ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED THEM!

The Democrat leaders insisted the border was a political stunt and was a waste of money.

on Tuesday evening National Border Patrol Council Vice President Art Del Cueto joined Elizabeth MacDonaldon The Evening Edit following the White House meeting between President Donald Trump and liberal leaders Nancy Pelosi and Senator Chuck Schumer.

Art Del Cueto challenged Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to come work with him for one night to see how difficult his job is.

Art Del Cueto: I heard some of the words they said earlier today and they were attacking the president, attacking the wall. And you know what? Nancy Pelosi and Schumer can come down here and help us patrol the border and I’ll show them how difficult and how dangerous it really is and how that wall makes a difference.
