J6 Agitator Ray Epps Demands Apology from Tucker Carlson… For What Exactly?

The Biden DOJ is clearly running out of ideas on how to punish law abiding citizens for no reason.

Naturally, that means it’s time to jail some more January 6 “insurrectionists.”

Curious is the fact that of all the people who have already been sentenced, Ray Epps still isn’t one of them.

You remember Ray Epps…

He’s the guy who was caught numerous times on video back on January 6, 2020 calling for people to storm the Capitol.

He’s also the same guy who the FBI executive assistant director for national security refused to answer whether or not Epps was himself an undercover federal agent.

In spite of all of the credible evidence of his involvement in January 6, Epps has managed to miraculously dodge a bullet for three years.

Now he has the nerve to lash out at those who exposed him for the fraud that he truly is.

Epps is demanding that Fox News host Tucker Carlson retract his previous comments about Epps in regards to his involvement on January 6.

He also wants a formal on-air apology from the Fox News host for his “false and defamatory” comments.

Really now…

Here’s the latest from the Gateway Pundit:

A lawyer for Ray Epps sent a letter to Tucker Carlson this week demanding he retract his comments about the J6 insurrection leader by March 31.

Epps claims Tucker’s comments were “false and defamatory.”

Epps also advised FOX News to keep all of their communications regarding Tucker’s arrangement with Speaker Kevin McCarthy to view the footage from January 6.

This guy has some nerve!

He must be well protected by somebody…

NBC News provided more details on the demand by Epps and his lawyer:

In a letter to Carlson and Fox News general counsel Bernard Gugar, Michael Teter, a lawyer for Epps, said the Fox News host “persists with his assault on the truth” by pushing “fanciful notions” regarding Epps’ involvement in the Capitol attack that have “demonstrably (and already proven to be) false.”

Teter demanded that Carlson and Fox News publicly retract the claim that Epps was working for the federal government during the events of Jan. 6, 2021, and the claim that Epps “acted as an instigator or provocateur of the insurrection.”

“We expect that you will give the same airtime in retracting these falsehoods as you spent amplifying them,” Teter wrote. “Further, Mr. Carlson and Fox News must issue a formal on-air apology for the lies you have spread about Mr. Epps.”

Teter said that Epps and his wife have been “subjected to threats, intimidation and harassment, resulting in significant economic and emotional damages” as a result of Carlson and other Fox News hosts promoting the conspiracy theory.

Thankfully, Carlson has remained steadfast in calling out Rey Epps’ involvement in January 6th.
