WATCH: Kamala Harris Gives Kindergarten ‘Pep Talk’ to Howard After NCAA Tournament Loss

As we previously covered here, Kamala Harris recently attended the NCAA tournament matchup between Kansas and her alma mater Howard.

She was promptly booed when the jumbotron panned to her during the game.

Howard was then blown out by Kansas by 28 points.

If that wasn’t bad enough for the Howard Bison, they then had to deal with Kamala Harris entering their locker room after the game in order to deliver one of her infamous “speeches.”

Tell me this doesn’t look like a Kindergarten teacher trying to cheer up her class after they lost a spelling bee…

Imagine losing after playing your heart out at the NCCA Tournament. Then you get to the locker room and you have to hear an awful speech by Kamala Harris. I feel so bad for the Howard players.

Here’s more on what the Huffington Post hilariously referred to as an “inspiring” locker room speech:

Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday provided some rah-rah-rah while feelings were likely raw-raw-raw in Howard University’s locker room. The Bison lost big, as expected, to No. 1 seed Kansas at the NCAA Tournament ― but Harris wasn’t about to let her alma mater dwell on the negative.

“You played hard; you played to the very last second,” said Harris, class of ’86 at the D.C. historically black university. “You made all us Bison so, so proud. You hustled out there. You are smart. You are disciplined. You put everything you had into the game. And you know that’s what it’s about, right?”

CBS Sports has more on the transcript of Harris’ rousing “pep talk:”

“You put everything you had into the game, and you know that’s what it’s about, right,” Harris said. “Until the last minute, you guys did that. You didn’t stop until the last second, you did not stop. And that is so inspiring. So you keep playing with chin up and shoulders back because you showed the world who Bison are. I mean, literally what you have done is in historic proportion. I was at Howard back in the day, where we just happy that there was a game, much less getting to this place.
