DEVELOPING: Law Enforcement Prepping For Trump Indictment

A report recently filed by NBC News could spell bad news for President Trump.

According to the outlet, federal law enforcement authorities, as well as local police agencies, are prepping for a potential indictment of President Trump, in the Southern District of New York, Manhattan.

The various agencies include the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, the Secret Service, NYPD, New York State’s court liaisons, and the office of the District Attorney.

It is important to note that no charges have yet to be filed in connection to the ongoing Stormy Daniels hush money case, nor will they definitely be filed in the future—all preparations are purely for precaution.

America First patriots had this to say:

NBC News reports:

Trump’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, told NBC News that the former president will follow normal procedures if it gets to the point of having to surrender to authorities from the DA’s office.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, pleaded guilty in 2018 to a federal charge relating to a $130,000 payment to Daniels, an adult film star, in the closing days of the 2016 campaign.

Daniels has said the money was to keep her quiet about her claim that she’d slept with the married Trump in 2006, an allegation Trump denies.

Trending Politics warns:

If former President Donald Trump is indicted in connection to the alleged hush money payment made to Stormy Daniels, it could have significant political and legal implications, especially for his presidential campaign.

From a legal standpoint, an indictment would require Trump to mount a defense and could potentially result in a conviction and sentencing.

The investigation into the alleged hush money payment has been ongoing for years, and an indictment would signal that prosecutors believe they have sufficient evidence to bring charges.
