Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo said in reference to the experimental mRNA COVID-19 shots that he’s “not sure anyone should be taking them.”
It took long enough for this statement but nobody should have ever taken these experimental shots.
“These vaccines have a terrible safety profile,” Ladapo said.
“At this point in the pandemic, I’m not sure anyone should be taking them.”
“I don’t think anyone probably should be taking them. They have a terrible safety profile,” he repeated.
“We have, unfortunately, a CDC and FDA who the most consistent thing they’ve done is deny the truth.”
“Pushing masks, pushing the vaccines in little kids, all these low-value, divisive policies they did,” Ladapo added.
Ladapo referenced a Lancet study that showed that after seven months post-inoculation, the people who received the experimental shot had a greater chance of contracting COVID-19 than individuals who did not.
He said it’s a “fact” the CDC and FDA have never said a word about.

Ladapo expressed gratitude to Gov. DeSantis for holding his position on things that “made sense” to him and made sense to a lot of people who felt the same way but weren’t vocal.
“Everyone was having a spasm over the simplest drop of common sense, so I’m immensely grateful to him,” Ladapo said.

In prior comments, Ladapo said the mRNA injections increased the risk of cardiac-related death among men ages 18-39.

He released updated guidance for the experimental shots in October.
Today, we released an analysis on COVID-19 mRNA vaccines the public needs to be aware of. This analysis showed an increased risk of cardiac-related death among men 18-39. FL will not be silent on the truth.

U.S. federal agencies recently sent a letter to Dr. Ladapo saying his claims about the COVID-19 shot fueled "vaccine hesitancy."
It was a response to Ladapo's letter to the Biden administration expressing concerns about adverse effects from the experimental shots.

The Guardian reported:
US health agencies have sent a letter to the surgeon general of Florida, warning that his claims about Covid-19 vaccine risks are harmful to the public.
The letter was sent to Joseph Ladapo on Friday by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It was a response to a letter Ladapo wrote to the agencies last month, expressing concerns about what he described as adverse effects from Covid vaccines.
“It is the job of public health officials around the country to protect the lives of the populations they serve, particularly the vulnerable,” said the federal letter, which was signed by the FDA commissioner, Robert Califf, and CDC director, Rochelle Walensky.
“Fueling vaccine hesitancy undermines this effort.”
Ladapo was appointed by the Republican governor of Florida, the prospective Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis, in 2021.
Ladapo has attracted national scrutiny over his close alignment with the governor in opposing Covid vaccine mandates and other health policies embraced by the federal government.
Last year, Ladapo released guidance recommending against Covid vaccinations for healthy children, contradicting federal public health leaders whose advice says all kids should get the shots.
