Tucker Carlson Discusses Regrets Working For Media, Says They Work For ‘Small Group of People Who Actually Run the World’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson discussed his regrets working for the mainstream media on an episode of the Fullsend Podcast.

In the clip, Carlson mentioned how he grew up in the media world due to his father’s career.

“I’ve spent my whole life in the media. My dad was in the media. That is a big part of the revelation that’s changed my life,” Carlson explained.

“The media are part of the control apparatus.”

“What if you’re me and you spent your whole life in that world and to look around and all of a sudden you’re like, ‘oh wow,’ not only are they part of the problem, but I spent most of my life being part of the problem defending the Iraq War,” Carlson said.

The Fox News host said he had many regrets in his career.

One regret in particular was defending the Iraq War.

Carlson also said he regretted not being more skeptical and calling people names when he should have listened to them.

“For too long I participated in the culture where I was like anyone who thinks outside these pre-prescribed lanes is crazy, is a conspiracy theorist,” Carlson said.

“And I just really regret that. I’m ashamed that I did that.”

Carlson emphasized that he’s ashamed he didn’t see the media as part of the control apparatus.

He declared the media’s purpose isn’t to inform its viewers.

“They’re job is not to inform you. They are working for the small group of people who actually run the world,” Carlson said.

“They’re their servants to their praetorian guard. And we should treat them with maximum contempt. Because they have earned it.”
