Former Disinformation Czar Now In The Hot Seat

Nina Jankowicz was more than eager to do the sordid work of the state by heading up the government’s proposed ministry of truth. …

Since then, she has reportedly been revealed to be a foreign agent and the government’s plans to form a disinformation board were scrapped—give yourselves a pat on the back patriots.

Never forget that it was the massive public backlash that pushed the state into abandoning its plans for an Orwellian censorship board.

Jankowicz didn’t go quietly and her troubles didn’t end with her being fired and her department canned. …

Rep. Jim Jordan, of the House Judiciary Committee, has subpoenaed Jankowicz to appear in front of Congress as part of a probe into the failed department and DHS as a whole:

This is not the first letter the House Judiciary Committee sent Jankowicz, late last year Rep. Jim Jordan sent her this letter requesting her appearance:

Washington Examiner confirmed:

The Judiciary Committee has sought to investigate the Department of Homeland Security’s governance board, which was dissolved in August 2022 after being formed in April 2022 and aimed to combat purported disinformation threats to the United States.

Jordan fired off a subpoena on Monday to Nina Jankowicz, the researcher who, for a short time, oversaw the board and came under fire from Republicans for allegedly promoting censorship and conspiracy theories online.

“Hey my dude, turns out getting representation for something like this actually costs significant coinage. You’d do the very same to soften the blow,” she said.
