Kari Lake Responds to Reports That Trump is Considering Her For VP

According to an Axios report, President Trump is strongly considering a female running mate for the 2024 presidential election.

The outlet said Kari Lake is among four female candidates he’s considering for his vice president.

From Axios:

Former President Trump is strongly considering picking a female running mate — and sees Kari Lake as a model for his vice presidential pick, according to people who discussed the topic with him.

Other names mentioned in the report included:

  • Nikki Haley
  • Sarah Huckabee Sanders
  • Kristi Noem

At CPAC, Kari Lake won the GOP straw poll for vice president.

Lake won the poll amongst 30 contenders, including Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley.

“We’re flattered, but unfortunately our legal team says the Constitution won’t allow for her to serve as Governor and VP at the same time,” Kari Lake War Room humorously tweeted.

Kari Lake responded to rumblings that President Trump is considering her for vice president.

Lake called it a “distraction” from her legal efforts in Arizona’s stolen 2022 gubernatorial election.

Our friends at The Gateway Pundit asked Kari Lake about the VP rumors.

Lake gave the following statement to The Gateway Pundit on Tuesday:

Lake: My goal is to be in the Arizona Governor’s office. I won the election and everyone in Arizona knows it. We The People deserve to have the leaders we elect hold the office we elect them to.

I am 100% dedicated to serving as Arizona Governor. I will also work to make sure President Trump gets back in the White House ASAP. Anything outside of those two goals is nothing but a distraction.

Our best days are ahead of us and it all starts with electing America-First candidates all across this country.
