It’s so good to see Pastor Robb Goodman back in the preacher’s chair this week!
Although we did enjoy his wife filling in last week.
I told him he’d better make sure she doesn’t take his job!
But the man himself is back in the pulpit and looking good and healthy and we love to see that.
And you can tell already by the title you’re in for a strong, Biblically-based Gospel message.
Too many preachers (I’m looking at you Joel Osteen) preach a feel-good Gospel with no mention of Jesus and definitely no mention of the Cross.
Sorry folks, that’s not Christianity.

The title of the teaching today is, You Can’t Have a Crown Without the Cross.
Today we will go through many scriptures as we study today’s topic.
Jesus said that we have to take up our cross in order to be one of His disciples.
Disciple literally means, disciplined one.
Are we really willing to carry our cross.
It’s not an easy life.
Paul spoke about the afflictions that come with the preaching of the gospel.
I pray that the Lord will speak into your life through this message today.
