Donald Trump Jr Blasts Washington: ‘Our “Leaders” Are Too Afraid To Actually Lead’

Donald Trump Jr is saying the quiet part out loud. …

These bureaucrats don’t give a damn about the American people or actually doing their jobs. If they did, they would be in East Palestine, Ohio right now. …

If they did, FEMA wouldn’t have denied them federal aid for what has been called a Chornobyl-style incident and then changed course directly ahead of President Trump’s planned visit.

In what universe does the statement “we basically nuked the town” preclude the town from immediately receiving federal aid, no questions asked?

In response to this clear dereliction of duty, Donald Trump Jr recently posted this to Twitter:

President Trump also issued his own statement in response to the toxic fallout affecting East Palestine, Ohio and the surrounding areas:

The Epoch Times had more on President Trump’s planned visit to East Palestine:

The visit from the 45th president to East Palestine comes as the Biden administration faces criticism for what some are calling a slow response to the Feb. 3 derailment of a train carrying toxic chemicals.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg didn’t address the incident until ten days after the train derailed in a fiery crash that sent a black cloud into the air over East Palestine from burning vinyl chloride.

Daily Caller provided this update on the toxic fallout:

The EPA tested 500 homes and planned to test over two dozen more as of Friday and detected no sign of chemicals related to the train derailment, according to the most recent Ohio Emergency Medical Agency update.

While water testing shows the water is reportedly safe to drink, residents are advised to continue drinking bottled water until their private wells are tested.
