Meet Australia’s New Ambassador for Gender Equality…

To our Australian friends, blink twice if you are in duress.

Australia has hired a new ambassador for gender equality…

Yes, that’s really a thing…

That alone probably isn’t a big shocker if you know how insane Australia is lately.

However, once you get a look at the video announcement released by the new ambassador, you might not sleep well for a while.

Her name is Stephanie Copus-Campbell, and she’s been appointed by Australia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs as the “lead international advocate for Australia’s commitment to gender equality and the human rights of women and girls and persons of diverse gender identities.”

That’s a mouthful.

Does this seem normal to anyone?:

Look, I’m not trying to judge anyone by their appearances here…

Let’s take a look at what qualifies her for the job though.

Rebel News has more on Stephanie Copus-Campbell’s qualifications:

Australia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Penny Wong, recently appointed Stephanie Copus-Campbell to be the new ambassador for gender equality in the country.

Copus-Campbell, who reportedly doesn’t have any prior public service experience according to her LinkedIn profile, will serve as the “lead international advocate for Australia’s commitment to gender equality and the human rights of women and girls and persons of diverse gender identities.”

Naturally, Twitter had fun with this one:
