Nearly Half Of The SCOTUS Justices Give Biden The Cold Shoulder

I didn’t watch Biden’s recent State of the Union speech…

Apparently, neither did four of the Supreme Court Justices. According to sources, Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, and Samuel Alito were not in attendance.

At least one Justice, Clarence Thomas, claims that all State of the Union addresses make him uncomfortable due to the highly partisan nature of these public relations efforts and hasn’t attended one since 2006.

The responses to Biden’s recent address were overwhelmingly negative, scathing even, and it isn’t very hard to see why…

Soaring inflation, a border crisis, geopolitical turmoil, a bungled health ‘pandemic’, and now Chinese spy balloons crossing the entire country comprise the current state of America and the incompetence of the Biden regime.

Here are some highlights in the wake of the recent State of the Union speech:

The Epoch Times writes:

Biden sought to to portray a nation dramatically improved from a year ago, claiming the U.S. economy is now prospering.

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who gained a national profile as former President Donald Trump’s press secretary, gave the GOP response to the president’s speech.

The speech came days after Biden ordered the military to shoot down a suspected Chinese spy balloon that flew brazenly across the country, captivating the nation and serving as a reminder of tense relations between the two global powers.

Republicans and some Democrats had called on the U.S. military to shoot down the aircraft last week.

According to Washington Examiner, many of the Justices have not attended a State of the Union address for years:

Sotomayor has not attended a State of the Union address since 2016, while Alito, the author of the Dobbs opinion, has not attended the annual event since 2010.

Alito garnered attention for mouthing the words “not true” as then-President Obama denounced the high court’s Citizens United v. FEC ruling on campaign finance.

Meanwhile, Thomas has made clear on several occasions his reasoning for not attending State of the Union events, as he hasn’t been to one since 2006.
