Is This Why President Trump Didn’t Shoot Down The Balloons During His Presidency?

I want to take a moment to cover a very interesting story.

Conflicting reports are circulating about whether or not Chinese Spy Balloons crossed over the USA during President Trump’s Presidency…

We did a Fact Check on this yesterday and I’ll post that down below.

But the story persists today and there is a new twist added…

The new twist is that yes, there were spy balloons flown over the USA during President Trump’s presidency, but the military DID NOT TELL HIM about them!

So….is it true?

If it’s true, then it’s some combination of Treason by the Generals who did not inform their Commander in Chief and a Court Marshall worthy offense!

Would Trump have shot them down?

Damn right he would have!

And he’s the Commander in Chief, it’s his obligation to do so!

Hiding that information from him would be wildly inappropriate and “treason” is not too harsh as word.

But….are these reports accurate?

I have to pause and say I doubt it.

Why?

Because I want you to think back to how this story broke wide open with the current balloon.

It wasn’t because the Biden Regime told us…

It wasn’t because the MSM told us…

It’s because real Americans looked up in the sky, and took photos and videos and posted them to Twitter!

We saw the balloons!

So for me to believe that balloons flew under the Trump Administration and no one told President Trump, I have to believe (1) that we have treasonous Generals in our Military (which is not that hard to believe), and more importantly (2) I have to believe that no one in the USA looked up in the sky and saw these balloons.

And #2 did not happen by all objective accounts.

So?

I can only conclude this too is likely not accurate.

And here’s what we’re checking right now: there’s a rumor circulating (spread by MSM and the “Russia Collusion” crew) saying 3 Chinese Balloons flew over the USA during Trump’s watch.

It sounded absurd to me on it’s face, how about you?

The whole reason this story went viral is because real Americans looked up in the sky and saw this balloon!

You mean to tell me three of them flew all over the USA during Trump and not one person noticed?

Sorry, doesn’t pass the smell test.

But setting that aside, now let’s dive deeper in the Fact Check.

Let’s ask two former Director’s of National Intelligence.

What do they say?

They say it’s 100% “FAKE NEWS”.

John Ratcliffe: It’s not true. I can refute it. Former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper refuted it yesterday, former Secretary of State and CIA Director Mike Pompeo has refuted it. But Maria, the American people can refute it for themselves. Do you remember during the Trump administration when photographers on the ground and commercial airline pilots were talking about a spy balloon over the United States. The people could look up and see it with the naked eye. And a media that hated Donald Trump wasn’t reporting. I don’t remember that either because it didn’t happen.
