We’re closely following reports of the alleged Chinese spy balloon first spotted in Montana.
However, it appears another alleged Chinese spy balloon has been identified in the Western hemisphere.
The latest balloon was spotted floating in Latin America.
It was allegedly seen in Costa Rica on Friday.

“We are seeing reports of a balloon transiting Latin America. We now assess it is another Chinese surveillance balloon,” press secretary Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder said in a statement to CNN.
Joe Biden has just given the “okay” for Chinese spy balloons to fly all over our nation.
Now there’s one flying over Latin America, too.
Have we ever looked weaker?

Just a reminder, intelligence officials previously said that high-altitude balloons can be used as a "delivery platform" for "secret nuclear strikes" or a test trial for an EMP bomb.
NEW: Pentagon says a 2nd Chinese spy balloon is "transiting Latin America"
Some theorize that these balloons are *not* for surveying nuke sites but a test trial for an EMP bomb.
Scary stuff.

A U.S. official told CNN that the surveillance balloon in Latin America does not appear to be heading toward the United States.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden has refused to shoot down the surveillance balloon floating across the continental United States.
The administration has allowed it to transition through America's Heartland to the Southeast United States.
JUST IN: Pilots are now reporting the Chinese spy balloon floating a few thousand feet above them.

The Biden administration claimed the threat of falling debris as their reason for not shooting down the balloon.
However, they knew about the balloon for days and allowed it to transition through American airspace.

“It’s an outrage that the Biden Administration spotted this balloon days ago as it was flying over the Aleutian Islands and did nothing about it,” said Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY).
“The president has not even made a comment about this unacceptable act of aggression by the CCP.”

It appears the Chinese surveillance balloon is now in the Carolinas.
Airports have been impacted in multiple cities across South Carolina and North Carolina.
From CNN:
The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a ground stop for three airports in the Carolinas as a suspected Chinese spy balloon drifts through the area, a spokesperson confirmed in a statement.
The administration also restricted airspace near Myrtle Beach between 12:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. ET. for "national defense airspace.”
The affected airports are in Wilmington, North Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
