Fox News had these details to add:
A police K-9 named Officer Ice was recently “under investigation” for allegedly stealing from one of his own colleagues.
This month, the Wyandotte Police Department (WPD) in Wyandotte, Michigan, shared a now-viral image of Ice’s mugshot following his recent criminal charges.
As the post stated, Officer Barwig was in the middle of his lunch when he was called into the WPD jail for assistance.
Upon his return, Barwig’s lunch had vanished and Ice was seen leaving the break room while “licking his chop,” according to the WPD’s post, which was shared on Facebook 11,000 times.
GUILTY: Police in Michigan posted a mugshot of accused thief, K-9 Ice. An officer was eating in the break room when he was called to the jail, leaving his meal behind. When he returned, Ice was walking out of the room licking his chops. 😆 @fox35orlando https://t.co/Egi74adJYE

KATU News got the scoop too:
Police in Michigan said a theft took place right under their noses.
The Wyandotte Police Department said it saddens them to report that a K-9 Officer Ice was recently under investigation for stealing.
Stealing is not only a crime but it is morally wrong too,” police posted on Facebook. “Some jobs, like that of being a police officer, require you to take an oath prior to starting. Within the officer’s sworn oath is the promise to protect a person’s property.”
Police said an officer was eating in the break room when he was called to assist with a person in the jail and swiftly jumped into service leaving his half-eaten lunch on the table. When he returned a short while later with another officer, they noticed K-9 Officer Ice “leisurely strolled” out of the room licking his lips.
