Germany Declares War on Russia?

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said the quiet part out loud referring to the Ukraine conflict.

Baerbock said “we are fighting a war against Russia” during a debate at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

“Yes, we have to do more to defend Ukraine. Yes, we have to do more also on tanks. But the most important and crucial part is that we do it together and we do not do the blame game in Europe because we are fighting a war against Russia and not against each other,” Baerbock said.

The topic of debate was sending Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.

Do her comments, technically, qualify as a declaration of war against Russia?

Zero Hedge reported:

Interestingly, both Chancellor Olaf Scholz and his former defense minister who recently resigned, Christine Lambrecht, have been seen as weak on arming Ukraine – repeatedly declaring an unwillingness to get pulled deeper into the proxy war aspect to the conflict. But now it seems the more hawkish Baerbock is willing to at this point be much more open with the reality of what’s happening.

It appears warmongering hawks in Western nations aren’t hiding their intentions any longer.

They want a conflict with Russia via Ukraine and pour billions into the war effort.

Joe Biden has also decided to send tanks to Ukraine.

The United States will send 31 Abrams tanks to support Ukraine’s war effort.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented that Baerbock’s statement is an admission that Western allies had been planning this conflict for years.

“If we add this to Merkel’s revelations that they were strengthening Ukraine and did not count on the Minsk agreements, then we are talking about a war against Russia that was planned in advance. Don’t say later that we didn’t warn you,” Zakharova said.

RT noted:

Former German chancellor Angela Merkel told German media in early December that the 2014 ceasefire brokered by Berlin and Paris was actually a ploy to “give Ukraine valuable time” for a military build-up. Former French president Francois Hollande has confirmed this, while Ukraine’s leader at that time, Pyotr Poroshenko, openly admitted it as well.

Russia’s operation in Ukraine was a “forced and last-resort response to preparations for aggression by the US and its satellites,” former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev claimed on Monday.
