Failed VP Candidate Paul Ryan (Who’s Never Won a National Election): Trump is a “Proven Loser”

We all know that Establishment Republicans are out of touch.

But Paul Ryan just proved he’s not only out of touch — he’s also not self-aware.

Who is Paul Ryan?

In case you’ve forgotten, he’s the former Speaker of the House…

And he’s the 2012 FAILED vice presidential candidate.

In other words, Paul Ryan has NEVER won a national election.

Unlike President Trump.

President Trump won BIGLY in 2016.

And President Trump broke all sorts of records in 2020, including the fact that he was the first president in all of American history to get MORE votes in his reelection campaign compared to the first one.

In fact, in 2020, President Trump got MORE votes than Barack Obama AND Hillary Clinton!

That is a fact.

He would have beat both of them in the electoral college and the popular vote hands down!

That’s something you never hear about because of Biden’s “win.”

Yet…

Paul Ryan had the audacity to call Trump a “proven loser.”

Yikes… Paul, you should read the room before speaking.

More details and reactions below:

The worst part?

Paul Ryan said this on CNN…

Why didn’t he say this on Fox News?

The Hill confirms:

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said on Thursday that former President Trump is a “proven loser” after a string of Republican election losses in recent years.

“He’s fading fast,” Ryan told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Thursday. “He is a proven loser. He cost us the House in ’18, he cost us the White House in ’20, he cost us the Senate again and again.”

Ryan said he does not believe Trump will get the party nomination as Republicans begin to focus more on issues like fiscal responsibility and less on personalities.

“I think we are moving past Trump,” he added. “I really think that’s the case. I can’t imagine him getting the nomination, frankly.”

Trump is the only prominent Republican to officially launch a 2024 presidential campaign; however, a number of prominent GOP figures are considering White House runs.

Ryan has been a vocal critic of the former president in recent months. In October, he said Trump’s “unelectability will be palpable” by the 2024 presidential election, again predicting that Republicans would choose a different nominee.

Oh yeah… did I mention that President Trump also got more votes than Romney/Ryan?

So how does Ryan think he has any credibility to speak on who’s a loser vs a winner?

As far as I’m concerned, only Trump has won a national election.

Why does Paul Ryan think he is?!

This type of “Republican” (Paul Ryan is really just a RINO) backstabbing is exactly what the media loves.

The media is already having a field day with Ryan’s “analysis” on Trump.

Take a look at what the liberal HuffPost published:

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) says his party is done with Donald Trump.

“He’s fading fast,” he said Thursday on CNN. ”He’s a proven loser who cost us the House in ’18, he cost us the White House in ’20, he cost us the Senate again and again, and I think we all know that.”

Ryan said he believes Republicans are “moving past” the former president, who has already announced his 2024 candidacy to return to the White House.

“I can’t imagine him getting the nomination, frankly,” Ryan said.

NATIONAL POLL: Do You Still Have Trump's Back 100%?

Trump’s political demise has been predicted repeatedly since he first threw his hat into the presidential ring in 2015. However, he remains popular with his party’s base ― and though recent polls show that’s slipping, he’s still considered the favorite for the 2024 nomination.

A CBS News poll released earlier this week found that two-thirds of GOP voters believe loyalty to Trump is either “very” or “somewhat” important.

Is Paul Ryan right on the money?

Or is he embarrassingly out of touch with the American people?
