The Iraqi government just issued an arrest warrant for President Trump.

Baghdad Today reported that Faiq Zaidan, the head of Iraq’s Supreme Judicial Council, issued the arrest warrant for Trump.

The warrant was issued due to Trump calling for ” the assassination of the Quds Force commander, Qasem Soleimani, and chief of staff of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Iraq”.

Don’t worry though, there’s no chance Trump will be behind bars because he made the plan to assassinate Qasem Soleimani to protect Americans at Iraq’s US Embassy.

Trending Politics shared these details:

According to Baghdad Today, as cited by IraqNews, the head of Iraq’s “Supreme Judicial Council,” a man named Faiq Zaidan, has issued an arrest warrant for former President Trump. The warrant was apparently issued on Thursday, with Iraq News reporting on Friday, January 6th that:

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, announced on Thursday the issuance of an arrest warrant for former U.S. President Donald Trump, according to Baghdad Today news agency.

Zaidan mentioned in a statement that the Iraqi judiciary issued an arrest warrant for former U.S. President Donald Trump, who confessed to having committed the crime, calling on those investigating the assassination of the Quds Force commander, Qasem Soleimani, and chief of staff of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Iraq, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, to make an exceptional effort to uncover the perpetrators, Baghdad Today news agency reported.

“Why has he not yet been held accountable for this heinous crime?” Zaidan asked, referring to Donald Trump.

AI Monitor dropped these details:

Iraq’s Supreme Judicial Council again brought up an arrest warrant for former US President Donald Trump on Thursday in connection to the 2020 assassination of the Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani and the leader of the Iraqi militia.

The council’s president, Faiq Zidan, said that Trump is wanted for his “crime” in relation to the assassination of the “leaders of victory” and said an arrest warrant was issued. He made the remarks in front of a picture of Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the former leader of the Iran-backed Kitaib Hezbollah militia in Iraq.

“The court will not hesitate to take legal action,” said Zidan, as reported by the official Iraqi Media Network.
