DOJ Conceals Over 400 Pages Of Documents Revealing Gifts and Payoffs Given To Hunter and Jim Biden From Ukraine

The Department of Justice is doing everything possible to conceal over 400 pages of documents relating to Hunter and Jim Biden’s (Joe Biden’s brother) shady business dealings in Russia, Ukraine, and China.

A recent report by the Daily Mail revealed Colorado attorney Kevin Evans sued the DOJ after they failed to comply with his FOIA requests regarding Biden’s business dealing overseas.

Attorney Evans requested “for documents pertaining to ‘any relationship, communication, gift(s), and/or remuneration in any form’ between the president’s son Hunter or brother Jim, and China, Russia or Ukraine.”

But after admitting to having over 400 relavant documents regarding Evans’ reques,  government attorneys are now claiming they cannot confirm such documents exist.

The Daily Mail broke the story:

The Department of Justice is trying to prevent disclosure of 400 pages of sensitive documents on Hunter and Jim Biden’s dealings with China, Russia and Ukraine – by pretending they don’t exist.

Colorado lawyer Kevin Evans sued the department in March after it failed to comply with his request for records on the Bidens’ dealings under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Evans, a FOIA expert, asked for documents pertaining to ‘any relationship, communication, gift(s), and/or remuneration in any form’ between the president’s son Hunter or brother Jim, and China, Russia or Ukraine.

He said government lawyers first admitted in court to having at least 400 pages of ‘potentially relevant’ documents – but are now trying to get away with saying they can ‘neither confirm nor deny’ the existence of any records that match his request.

Trending Politics had more details to add:

The Justice Department is doing everything in their power to prevent the release of 400 pages of sensitive documents relating to payments and gifts made to Joe Biden’s son Hunter and his brother Jim Biden.

Back in March, Colorado lawyer Kevin Evans sued the DOJ for failing to comply with his request for the information on the Biden’s under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Evans, who is an expert on the Freedom of Information Act, requested for documents relating to “any relationship, communication, gift(s), and/or remuneration in any form” between Hunter Biden or Jim Biden and China, Russia or Ukraine.

At first, the department claimed they had 400 pages of “potentially relevant” documents but are now denying they even exist.
