“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” Executive Producer Dies Suddenly of Heart Attack at 37

Tejera died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Friday, December 23 according to a statement sent out to employees on Saturday by ABC News president Kim Godwin.

"As some of you have heard, our dear family member, Erica has gained her Angel wings, unexpectedly," a GoFundMe for Gonzalez read.

Our family is hurting and in disbelief. We are currently in the process of bringing her home from San Diego to El Paso, TX. We are asking for any donations, no matter the amount. We will be using the monies to bring her home and anything left over will be given to her sweet son, Brandon. We know Erica will be missed by many family and friends.

We want to thank you all in advance for helping our family during this difficult time. Again, we appreciate any donations, please keep her, Brandon and our family in your prayers.

According to the Twitter page that released the film Died Suddenly, "ABC has been in litigation for denying religious exemptions for the [COVID-19 jab]."

"They were requiring ALL ABC employees to be injected - no exceptions."

ABC 10News reported:

The ABC 10News team has lost an important member of our family.

Erica Gonzalez, one of our talented morning show producers, passed away overnight.

Gonzalez was a creative and passionate person who not only served our viewers, but her country as well.

The three biggest loves in her life were her family, the flag and the Friars.

She was a proud mother to her son, Brandon; she glowed as she talked about his achievements in high school. One of her best days was when he graduated in April.

Gonzalez served in the Marine Corps for eight years, the outlet noted.
