Trump Right Again: Pence DID Have The Power and This Just Proved It!

President Trump must get tired of being right.

I mean, the guy has an almost undefeated streak!

And each time it follows the same pattern…

First they laugh at him for saying it.

Then they fight him.

Then he’s proven right.

Reminds me a bit of this quote:

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

Here’s the latest example…

Remember when President Trump said Pence had the right (and the duty and obligation) to send the 2020 election back to the States?

Everyone laughed.

Then they fought him.

Now?

Now he’s been confirmed right, as the latest “Omnibus” Bill had language added specifically to prevent a VP from doing what Trump said Pence could do.

In other words, let me translate:

The DemonRats and RINOs said Pence didn’t have the power, but then they just passed legislation TAKING AWAY THAT POWER.

It would be like trying to tell someone that all liquor stores have to be closed on Mondays.

It’s not true, and people would say “hey, that’s not true.”

They’d fight you, say it was true, and then two years later they pass a law saying all liquor stores have to be closed on Mondays.

Why would you pass that law if it was already the case?

You wouldn’t.

Hence, Trump was right again:

Pence will go down in history right next to Judas and Mr. Arnold:

Oh, and by the way…

Seems like a good time to remind everyone of this:

Perhaps this is why Pence was acting so strange last week?

All starting to make sense now?

Mike Pence Desperate…Trying To Appeal To Trump?

File this under “Too little, too late!”

Former Vice President Mike Pence has expressed his hope that the Department of Justice (DOJ) will not bring charges against President Trump in relation to the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Pence argued that Congress, which has no formal role in DOJ decisions, has a “partisan taint” that has caused many Americans to ignore the hearings and suggested that the DOJ should be careful in its decision-making.

However, the House Select Committee to Investigate January 6 has announced that it will issue referrals to the DOJ recommending that Trump be criminally prosecuted for obstruction of an official proceeding of Congress, conspiracy to defraud the federal government, making a false statement, and inciting, assisting, or aiding and comforting an insurrection.

The committee’s referral holds no official legal weight, and the decision on whether to pursue charges will be up to Attorney General Merrick Garland and the DOJ.

Pence said that such an indictment against a former president would be “divisive.”

From Fox News:

Former Vice President Mike Pence said on Monday that the Department of Justice should not bring any charges against President Trump related to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

“How many times did Adam Schiff say that there was evidence of collusion with Russia? Two and a half years we listened to Adam Schiff talk about evidence that he had seen that was never there,” Pence told “America’s Newsroom” hosts Dana Perino and Bill Hemmer.

Rep. Schiff said Sunday he believes the “evidence is there” to pursue a criminal case against Trump.

“Congress has no formal role in Justice Department decisions and they can make recommendations today,” Pence responded, adding the committee has a “partisan taint” that has led to many Americans ignoring the hearings.
