The old Twitter CEO may have been in the dark as to what was going on behind the scenes according to his reaction to Elon Musk recently releasing the Twitter files.

Jack Dorsey, the founder of Twitter, sent a message to Musk on Wednesday.

Dorsey suggested Musk release all the Twitter files so that people could judge for themselves.

Here is what Dorsey tweeted:

“If the goal is transparency to build trust, why not just release everything without filter and let people judge for themselves? Including all discussions around current and future actions? Make everything public now. #TwitterFiles”

For his part, Musk responded:

“Most important data was hidden (from you too) and some may have been deleted, but everything we find will be released”

This whole Twitter thing is getting very interesting.

The Post Millennial reports:

Twitter cofounder and former CEO Jack Dorsey expressed to Elon Musk in a tweet on Wednesday that, for the sake of transparency, the Twitter Files be released to the public to “let people judge for themselves.”

As of now, documents of what action took place to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story are in the hands of journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss. The first round of files were revealed on Friday, with Taibbi providing a “Supplemental” on Tuesday.

Dorsey said in his tweet: “If the goal is transparency to build trust, why not just release everything without filter and let people judge for themselves? Including all discussions around current and future actions? Make everything public now. #TwitterFiles”

Here are Jack Dorsey’s comments:

Elon Musk just responded to Dorsey on Twitter:

Forbes reported as well:

Over the past week, Musk has been hyping the release of internal Twitter communications—which he has named “Twitter Files”—claiming that they will disclose the platform’s previous efforts to suppress free speech, especially from conservative voices.

In his first public reaction to the release, Dorsey tweeted Musk Wednesday, saying if his goal was to establish transparency and trust, “why not just release everything without filter and let people judge for themselves?”
