Lauren Boebert isn’t out of the woods just yet…
After defeating her opponent, Adam Frisch, by a narrow margin of 550 votes, Colorado’s Secretary of State has ordered a recount of the votes.
If the margin of victory is lower than 0.5%, the state of Colorado requires a recount.
Frisch has already conceded the race and it appears highly unlikely that the recount will change the outcome of Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District race.
Still, this could simply be a way to alter the results of this election and with voter confidence at an all-time low, it certainly isn’t helping to restore confidence in our elections.
We will bring you an update on this race once the recount has been completed, but for now, here’s more on the story:
I am ordering a mandatory recount of the CD-3 race, as required by Colorado law. All counties within CD-3 have been notified to begin preparations to proceed with the recount which must be completed by Tuesday, December 13, 2022, as required by statute.

Newsmax shared this quote from Adam Frisch:
“However, the likelihood of this recount changing more than a handful of votes is very small — very, very small. It would be disingenuous and unethical for us or any other group to continue to raise false hope and encourage fundraising for a recount.”
Frisch added that, “Colorado elections are safe, accurate, and secure.”

Adam Frisch has already conceded the race to Lauren Boebert, and the past has shown a recount is unlikely to change the outcome. https://t.co/fTTC6eD1e5

According to The Epoch Times:
Counties have been directed to work with canvass boards to test tabulation equipment. After the tests, counties will recount all ballots for the 3rd district race the same way they were counted during the election.
Every county will be using the tabulators, according to Griswold’s office, except for San Juan County. Officials there will be manually recounting the ballots.
