Big tech has been on the radar of many pro-American politicians and litigators for some time now, and the recent takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk has only exacerbated the issue.
Musk has indicated that he will release internal Twitter documents detailing censorship and government collusion.
This has Democrats, the Biden administration, big tech firms, and their handlers at the CCP very concerned—almost like a cornered animal that is about to get caught.
Apple, a company that has expressed far-left, statist, and establishment views time and time again has come out against the new Twitter, threatening to delist it from the App Store because of Musk’s commitment to free speech.
One could say that this is simply an empty virtue signal, but those more benign intentions end when one considers who it is that Apple Corp is beholden to—the Chinese Communist Party.
The computer manufacturing giant allegedly relies on Chinese slave labor and has acquiesced to requests from the CCP to censor ongoing protests in the country.
While Democrats and the left stay largely silent on both the ongoing protests in China and the subversive role of the CCP in American socio-politics, one political figure is not staying silent.
Governor Ron DeSantis has issued a not-so-thinly veiled threat to the company, indicating that if Apple removes Twitter from the App Store, Congress will respond under the guise of anti-trust measures.

DeSantis’ warning appeared in the digital edition of The Epoch Times:
“That would be a huge, huge mistake, and it would be a really raw exercise of monopolistic power that I think would merit a response from the United States Congress,” DeSantis told an audience in Duval County, Florida, on Tuesday.
The “old regime” at Twitter attempted to “suffocate the dissent” in regards to COVID-19 reporting, DeSantis said, adding that Apple is acting as a “vassal of the CCP [Chinese Communist Party]” while using “corporate power in the United States … to suffocate Americans.”
Apple has also threatened to withhold Twitter from its App Store, but won’t tell us why

Fox Business continued with his comments:
“Don’t be a vassal of the [Chinese Communist Party] on one hand and then use your corporate power in the United States on the other to suffocate Americans and try to suppress their right to express themselves.”
