“Laser Focused” Kari Lake Files Several Lawsuits Against Maricopa County

Kari Lake is a fighter.

She’s not going to roll over on Arizonans who feel betrayed by leaders and election officials in the state.

Lake is singularly focused on making things right in Arizona and she has already started the process.

She has already filed lawsuits against Maricopa County and its democrat leaders and donors.

These suits alleged that the county “broke election laws.”

According to Lake, 118 polling centers had printer or tabulation errors.

Lake called the 2022 election “the shoddiest election ever, in history.”

She spoke of the importance of acting quickly on Steve Bannon’s War Room:

“We’re on a timeline, a very strict timeline when it comes to fighting this botched election, and they’re dragging their feet.”

CBS News has more from Kari Lake:

Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has filed a lawsuit against Maricopa County elections officials, alleging they broke election laws. Lake also claimed that 118 polling centers appeared to have a “printer/tabulation problem,” although officials previously said there were 60 polling centers with printer issues that were fixed before polls closed.

Democrat Katie Hobbs, who currently serves as Arizona secretary of state, was projected as the winner of the race 10 days ago. Lake, a close ally of former President Donald Trump who has refused to acknowledge President Joe Biden won the 2020 election, has not yet conceded the governor’s race.

Lake announced the lawsuit Wednesday on Steve Bannon’s podcast “War Room,” calling the 2022 election “the shoddiest election ever, in history.”

“We want some information,” Lake said. “We’re on a timeline, a very strict timeline when it comes to fighting this botched election, and they’re dragging their feet.”

Lake is correct to act fast.

The democrats are trying to wait out the clock:

In Lake’s own words, she is “focused like a laser beam on Arizona and election integrity.”

The Post Millennial has more on the pending suits:

“The Defendants failed to detect, prevent or timely remedy this problem during setup and testing of their polling stations,” the lawsuit states. “Although poll workers tested the printers, according to observers they did not test whether the tabulators could read the test print.”

After listing off the locations that experienced issues, the lawsuit stated that “because of printer/tabulation problems, the polling locations were chaotic, voters were frustrated, and voters had to endure long lines.”

The lawsuit states that poll workers attempted to reach the county hotline, but were not able to reach a tech person in a timely fashion. “Even when technical support was reached, poll workers were told that they did not know how to fix the problem.”

In response to the issues, poll workers in many cases told voters to go to a different location, but “many voters left without voting.”

The lawsuit noted “door #3,” a box where voters could put their ballot to be tabulated later at a central location. “Things were so chaotic that poll workers were unable to watch the voters feed their ballots through the tabulator. Poll workers were pulled in so many different directions that one poll worker did not have the time to mark ‘spoiled’ on original ballots.”

Lake has remained steadfast in her mission.
