Democrats pretend that they don’t condone violence.

We all know that is a lie of course, as is evident from their own actions over the last several years.

It comes as no surprise that democrats have been mostly silent following a recent incident where Texas senator Ted Cruz was assaulted.

During the Houston Astros World Series victory parade, a man threw at least two beer cans at senator Cruz, who was riding on one of the parade floats at the time.

One of the cans struck Cruz in the neck.

Thankfully, he did not require any medical attention.

The 33-year-old man was arrested and then released on $40,000 bond.

The suspect, Joseph Halm Arcidiacono has been charged with aggravated assault.

National Review reported on the assault:

Senator Ted Cruz (R., Texas) was hit by a 12-ounce alcoholic beverage can thrown at him during Monday’s victory parade for the newly crowned World Series champions, the Houston Astros.

Joseph Halm Arcidiacono, 33, threw two full cans at Cruz in quick succession during the parade, one of which struck the senator in the neck. Arcidiacono was arrested, charged with aggravated assault, and released on $40,000 bond.

Cruz did not need medical attention after being hit, and expressed his gratitude for law enforcement’s quick intervention on Monday.

How have democrats responded to the incident?

Well, it’s a bit of a mixed bag.

Most haven’t even acknowledged that it happened.

Others stuck to mocking Cruz for being “publicly humiliated” during the parade.

Democrats seem to only condemn violence when it happens to their own:

The Left loves using political violence as a tool:
