Democrats pretend that they don’t condone violence.
We all know that is a lie of course, as is evident from their own actions over the last several years.
It comes as no surprise that democrats have been mostly silent following a recent incident where Texas senator Ted Cruz was assaulted.
During the Houston Astros World Series victory parade, a man threw at least two beer cans at senator Cruz, who was riding on one of the parade floats at the time.
One of the cans struck Cruz in the neck.
Thankfully, he did not require any medical attention.
The 33-year-old man was arrested and then released on $40,000 bond.
The suspect, Joseph Halm Arcidiacono has been charged with aggravated assault.

The penalty for assaulting a United States Senator with a deadly weapon is 10 years in prison.
Senator Ted Cruz's assailant should have the book thrown at him.
Leftist political violence has no place in America!

The terrorist who attacked Senator Ted Cruz today during the Houston Astros World Series parade with a potentially deadly weapon should spend the rest of his life in jail.

How have democrats responded to the incident?
Well, it’s a bit of a mixed bag.
Most haven’t even acknowledged that it happened.
Others stuck to mocking Cruz for being “publicly humiliated” during the parade.
Democrats seem to only condemn violence when it happens to their own:
Oh no is the White Claw ok? https://t.co/2PQPXxqytO

Please Jesus, let this country throw a metaphorical beer at Republicans in the Midterm Election the way this man in Houston did at Ted Cruz in the Astros World Series parade on Sunday. pic.twitter.com/R19CJcDqOd

BREAKING: Ted Cruz is publicly humiliated as fans of the World Series-winning Houston Astros brutally boo, heckle, and flip the middle finger at him at a parade celebrating the victory — making it clear that many Texans deeply despise him. RT TO GIVE TED CRUZ THE MIDDLE FINGER!

The Left loves using political violence as a tool:
– NY Gov. candidate Lee Zeldin, two assassination attempts
– NC House candidate Pat Harrigan, family home shot at w/ kids inside
– AZ Gov. candidate Kari Lake, white powder sent to office
– MI GOP chair Cheryl Costantino, bitten by teacher at Tudor Dixon rallyMore…
— Kyle Becker (@kylenabecker) November 8, 2022
– Wyoming GOP office set on fire just days after opening
– Vandals smash up Nebraska GOP HQ
– Vandals smash up Republican club in New York
– Minnesota state Rep. Sarah Anderson attacked by anarchist
– Minnesota state Rep. Shane Mekeland attacked and given a concussionMore…
— Kyle Becker (@kylenabecker) November 8, 2022
Yet the American Left claims political violence is 'mainstream' on the right.
Politico, for example, mentions none of the above-stated attacks on the GOP, misleading readers the urge is merely'growing' on the left.https://t.co/MrvJLwo3R6

As for Cruz, he gave this response on Twitter following the incident:
As always I'm thankful for the Houston Police and Capitol Police for their quick action.
I’m also thankful that the clown who threw his White Claw had a noodle for an arm. https://t.co/CRSfNHckA2
